A collection of our signature work defining the Firm Terra philosophy: honest materials, natural light, and the intersection of traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern living.

This expansive living area in the Vidyut Kapoor Residence demonstrates our use of honest materials like exposed brick and stone flooring. The double-height vaulted ceiling and large glass doors flood the space with natural light, seamlessly connecting the interior with the garden outside.

In the Reshma Residence, a large skylight transforms the central dining area into a dramatic, light-filled atrium. This top-down view shows how we engineer vertical spaces to create an open and airy atmosphere throughout the home, with pendant lights adding a warm glow.

We designed this internal courtyard for the Chatty Residence to act as the green heart of the home. The space is lined with sandstone and filled with plants, providing a tranquil view and improving natural ventilation for the surrounding rooms.

These traditionally carved wooden pillars in the Roopa Hariprasad Residence are a centerpiece of the home's design. We use such elements to ground our modern architectural work in the richness of Indian craft and heritage, creating a space that feels both timeless and personal.

For the Torishima Pumps corporate office, we created a multi-story atrium that serves as a bright and welcoming central hub. The suspended art installation and indoor garden bed establish a professional yet creative brand identity from the moment one enters the building.

The entrance to the Roopa Hariprasad Residence sets a warm and inviting tone with a custom-crafted wooden door and patterned tile steps. We believe a home's entrance should be a statement of the style and character found within.

This is the 'Ittige' residence, a project that embodies our tropical contemporary style. We designed the structure to coexist with the surrounding landscape, using the vertical louvered facade and brickwork to create a dialogue between the built form and the natural environment, making the home feel like a part of the garden itself.10
The living space of the 'Ittige' residence showcases our approach to modern Indian interiors. We integrated traditional elements like the wooden swing and cane furniture with a clean, contemporary layout, creating a space that feels both culturally rooted and refreshingly modern. The open plan allows for natural light to fill the room, connecting it to the outdoors.
The 'House Under Tabebuia Trees' features a 15-meter panoramic and parametric facade. This curved form, a significant structural challenge, was designed to wrap around the view, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow that changes throughout the day. It is a testament to our fascination with bold, cantilevered structures.
Inside the 'House Under Tabebuia Trees', this dining nook is defined by a curved wall with a grid of small windows. Our guiding principle here was 'If Light defines a space, Colours define sense'. The design manipulates natural light to create a serene, almost surreal experience for the inhabitants.

This is the St. John's Medical College Hospital, a 100-bed facility I designed and managed. The image pairs the final building with its architectural section and elevation drawings, showing how a complex vision is translated into a tangible, functional structure.10
A view into a modern living room where functionality and comfort are key. The design uses a warm, neutral palette, clean lines, and thoughtful lighting, including a recessed ceiling feature, to create an inviting and spacious family area.
This space embodies my core belief in using local, sustainable materials. The exposed wire-cut brick walls and ample natural light create a warm, rustic, and energy-efficient city home with a distinct vernacular touch.

This is the heart of my "House of Greens" project, a space designed to feel like an open pavilion. The double-height volume, exposed concrete ceiling, and full-length doors dissolve the barrier between the home and the garden, embodying my philosophy of connecting life with nature.10
For the Shiva Temple Complex, I aimed to create a modern spiritual journey rooted in tradition. This view from the entry pavilion frames the main temple at dusk, using contemporary design to evoke a sense of timeless reverence and tranquility.
In my "House Belaku" project, I used a brick *jali* screen to transform sunlight into a dynamic design element. This image captures how the perforated brickwork casts a beautiful, shifting mosaic of light and shadow, creating a serene atmosphere while ensuring privacy.
My goal is to create homes that are shrouded in green, not just surrounded by it. This exterior view of the "House of Greens" shows how we integrate planters and cascading greenery into the structure itself, making the landscape a living part of the architecture.

This is the Nairy Residence, a home designed for three generations on a trapezoidal corner site. The structure acts as a protective fortress at street level, while the upper levels open up, becoming porous to the surrounding light and landscape. The curved concrete roof and exposed brick volumes are a direct expression of this dual concept.8
My own studio at dusk, conceived as a translucent lantern framed by a mature rain tree. The design is an honest expression of its structure, with three robust concrete portals supporting suspended galleries. It is a living example of my belief in open, evolving spaces that foster creativity.
In the Nairy Residence, I create intimate moments of connection with the outdoors. This bedroom features a deep bay window seat, a quiet perch that frames the lush greenery outside, transforming a simple window into a personal retreat and filling the space with soft, natural light.
The main staircase is a central sculptural element within the Nairy Residence. A bold, green-painted steel beam supports the structure, creating a visual contrast with the raw brick wall and drawing the eye upwards towards a circular skylight, which bathes the double-height volume in daylight.

We designed this school in South Bangalore to be a study in form and materiality. The building's fluid geometry and curved terracotta façade create a dynamic yet harmonious presence, demonstrating how institutional architecture can be both monumental and welcoming.7
At the core of the school, a circular courtyard with lush, tiered gardens serves as a biophilic sanctuary. This space embodies our commitment to creating environments that foster community and connect occupants with nature, enhancing the daily learning experience.
A detail of the façade reveals the rhythmic interplay between the warm, textured terracotta screen and the monolithic, curved structure. This juxtaposition of materials and a focus on refined detailing are central to our architectural language.
This conceptual design for an eco-conscious community in Kanakapura showcases our exploration of sustainable living. The architecture uses mud block construction and is integrated with natural water features and dense greenery, proposing a model for biophilic community design.
