About Our Guiding Philosophy
We start every session with an invocation to ground ourselves, and we maintain a strict 'no-eraser' policy. Those 'wrong' lines you leave on the paper are part of your learning, not mistakes. It is about trusting your hand and your vision, not chasing a polished result.
Art here is a sadhana, a disciplined practice. We are guided by the teachings of Basavanna: 'Kalabeda, kolabeda, husiya nudiyalu beda.' Honesty is at the center of everything we do.
Whether you are sketching in our Jayanagar studio or joining us outdoors at Cubbon Park, our intent remains the same. We remove the pressure of competition from the classroom. No student is compared to another, and we do not teach just to satisfy parents or external expectations. You are here to learn from the process, not to perform for an audience.
Our courses focus on anatomy, perspective, and the honest expression of your inner artist. We believe that if you put in the hours and maintain the discipline, the skill will follow.
