About Fine Arts Diploma & Professional Courses
Embarking on an artistic sadhana with us is about more than just art skills—it's a journey of self-discovery, rooted in our Gurukul tradition. At Fine Arts Gurukul, I believe in 'Kalabeda, kolabeda, husiya nudiyalu beda' (don't steal, don't kill, don't lie). This shapes everything about how we learn and create together.
What You Learn Here
The 6-month Diploma covers everything from the basics to professional-level art.
- First 3 months: Foundation certificate in sketching, focusing on freehand work, anatomy, and live studies.
- Next 3 months: Painting module with watercolor and acrylic painting classes, learning to see both the outside and the inside of your subjects.
- By the end, you'll have practiced realism techniques for artists and built a solid base.
Professional Courses
If you want to skill up fast, I offer short-term (2-month) classes in Acrylic (offline) and Watercolor (online & offline).
Our Teaching Style
We keep things chill and non-competitive. You get personal feedback, weekly assignments, and portfolio development for artists. Like one guru says, "sketching karte samay… eraser mat use karo, galat lines rehne do" (don’t use an eraser while sketching, let the wrong lines be). Mistakes are part of finding your style.
Schedule & Batch Info
Classes happen in person. Weekday and weekend batches available, with limited seats for personal attention. Flexible timings to suit your routine.

My Story
Namaskara! We’re Fine Arts Gurukul, not your regular art school. Since 2011, we’ve been making art a sadhana - a practice, not just a hobby. Festivals? We celebrate with paint, rangoli, and heart. We love Kalamkari and Gond, keeping those Indian art forms alive. Our guru Kamath ji says, ‘jo bhi galat rekhayein hain rehne dijiye’ (let the wrong lines be). That’s us - trusting the process, finding joy in every messy sketch. Classes start with an invocation, and you’ll always find a calm vibe here.
My Work
Our Art Courses - We teach Diploma in Fine Arts, advanced sketching lessons, painting, and traditional Indian folk art like Kalamkari.
Gurukul System - We follow the modern gurukul art classes style—discipline, values, and every session starts with an invocation.
For Adults - Syllabus-based training in painting, anatomy, perspective, and composition. Regular assignments, honest feedback.
Kids’ Creative Space - No competition, just world-class learning. Junior Pencil & Chai lets kids explore art freely.
Community Art - Free outdoor sketching at Cubbon Park. Meet, learn, and get inspired with fellow art lovers.
