We are more than an academy; we are a family. Explore the moments of celebration, rigorous training, and community gatherings that define our traditional Gurugriha culture in Bangalore.

A candid moment from our Guru Purnima celebration. It is a special day where the entire Gurugriha family comes together to honor the sacred bond between a guru and shishya, reinforcing our cultural roots.

A proud moment with students and our team at the Sangeet Gurugriha center in Bangalore. Posing by our academy's nameplate after an exam is a tradition that marks the successful completion of another milestone.

Our team of dedicated instructors and examiners after a successful session of exams for SSSParisad. We stand together to support our students through every step of their certification journey.

The examining team and I, pictured in front of the Nataraja statue at our academy. This represents our commitment to upholding the traditions and integrity of Indian classical arts.

The examination panel at the conclusion of the Prayag Sangeet Samiti exams. We work diligently to manage both online and offline examinations, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for all our students.

Students and teachers relaxing together after a rigorous examination session. These informal moments of camaraderie are just as important as the formal training, building a strong sense of community within the academy.

A moment of appreciation. Here, I am presenting a token of gratitude to an examiner who has been part of our students' journey. We value the experts who help us maintain our high standards.

About this collection

Our studio at HAL 3rd Stage in Bangalore is intentionally designed for floor-seating to maintain a traditional Gurukul environment, where students connect through shared practice. Whether you are training for a Prayag Sangeet Samiti diploma or simply learning a new instrument, we prioritize this community vibe alongside your formal education to ensure you feel supported through every exam and festival.

Our approach centers on the 'Gurugriha' philosophy, where the teacher-student relationship goes beyond the standard classroom. Whether you are learning Kathak, Hindustani vocal, or fine arts, we provide a clear, structured pathway to certification through our affiliations with Prayag Sangeet Samiti and Sarbabharatiya Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad.

We understand that mastering an art form is a significant commitment. That is why our quarterly programs, consisting of 12-13 weekly sessions, are designed for flexibility. We offer both live, interactive online classes via Zoom—where we focus on camera-based technique correction—and offline sessions at our dedicated studio in HAL 3rd Stage.

Celebration is core to our curriculum. From Guru Purnima and Ganesh Chaturthi to our annual showcase, 'Pratibha Darpan,' we create intentional opportunities for students to perform and gain stage confidence. If you are looking for a music school in Bangalore that balances academic rigor with a warm, family-like community, you have found your space.
