Luxury Dining & Hospitality Interior Design
I create dining and hospitality spaces that feel like a destination. I mix rich textures, custom woodwork, and rare stone to give your venue a distinct, high-end identity.
This dining space is an experience, designed to feel dramatic and full of art. I used a bold combination of black marble, a massive natural quartz tabletop, and chairs upholstered with original Versace fabric to create a statement. The ornate chandelier and custom ceiling complete the feeling of grandeur.
In this walkthrough, I explain the key elements of this luxury dining project. I discuss the Italian Sicis mosaic feature wall, the rustic Red Oak veneer, the pink quartz tabletop, and the one-ton, 100% solid wood ceiling with antique mirror details. It’s a showcase of how different high-end materials come together.
A wider view of the living area, showing how the dramatic double-height wall with black marble and hand-carved tigers serves as a stunning backdrop. The space is balanced with a comfortable L-shaped sofa and a unique center table, blending bold art with functional comfort.
A head-on view of the dining setup, highlighting the symmetry and richness of the design. The chairs, upholstered in a classic Versace print, are paired with a custom-designed ceiling and a tiered antique brass chandelier, creating a truly regal atmosphere.
I love adding unique, handcrafted elements to my projects. This video shows the installation of 300kg pink Makrana marble tigers, which were hand-carved for a double-height feature wall. It's these kinds of details that make a space truly one of a kind.
This clip offers a closer look at the dining area's key features. You can see the heavy-weight solid wood ceiling with antique mirror inlays, the intricate carving on the chairs, and the warm glow from the antique brass chandelier.
The details make the design. This is a close-up of the custom-made solid teakwood chair, featuring original Versace fabric, intricate carvings, and brass wheels for ease of movement. It's a piece of functional art.
This split image shows the connection between the living and dining areas. Both spaces share a common theme of luxury and artistic expression, with a consistent palette of dark tones, rich textures, and metallic accents.
Another perspective showcasing the interplay of different zones within the open-plan space. The design ensures that while each area has its own distinct features, they flow together to create a cohesive and impressive interior.

About Luxury Dining & Hospitality Spaces
The secret to a high-end dining space is how it handles the light and the touch. Take the one-ton wooden ceiling I installed recently; it was not just about the look. It was about creating a sense of weight and history that makes people slow down and notice the room. When you layer these heavy, solid elements with the right marble or mosaic, the entire atmosphere of the restaurant or home dining area changes instantly.
Building the Vibe
I treat every dining room like a hospitality project, whether it is for a commercial hotel or a private residence. It is not just about placing a table and chairs; it is about the design 'farma' (template). I start with the floor plan and work upwards, incorporating elements that catch the eye immediately.
Why Materials Matter
I get a real kick out of finding finishes that stand out without costing a fortune. I personally travel to places like Foshan to source Italian Sicis mosaics, natural quartz, and heavy veneers. This allows me to use premium materials like Pink Quartz or hand-carved Makrana marble tigers—which we recently installed on a double-height feature wall—without the typical local markup. By controlling the supply chain, I ensure you get luxury surfaces that are built to last.
The Details That Define Luxury
- Ceilings: I often work with heavy, solid wood installations and antique mirror inlays to add depth to the room.
- Feature Walls: I mix black marble with custom-carved sculptures to create a focal point.
- Fabric & Furniture: I prefer working with durable, high-impact upholstery—like original Versace prints—on solid wood frames with brass detailing.
Everything I design, from the bar counters to the mood lighting, is intended to create a sense of drama. If you want a space that feels like it has a story to tell, let’s talk about the plan.
