About this collection
Ever wonder how we turn a simple block-building session into a deep thinking exercise? We use the 'See-Think-Wonder' routine—a core part of our HEUREKA approach—where we encourage children to pause and observe before they speak. It isn't just about playing with blocks; it’s about learning to slow down, ask questions, and build complex ideas, one thought at a time.
At our BEL Layout campus, we believe that early childhood education is about more than just reciting ABCs. Our HEUREKA curriculum, inspired by Harvard’s Project Zero, is designed to make thinking visible. Instead of asking children to memorize answers, we provide them with the tools to explore, analyze, and communicate their thoughts.
How Visible Thinking Works
We teach through specific routines that help children slow down. When a child looks at a piece of art or a plant in our science corner, we don’t ask, 'What is this?' We ask, 'What do you see?', 'What do you think is happening?', and 'What does this make you wonder?' This shifts the focus from finding the 'right' answer to enjoying the process of discovery.
Holistic Growth with EPICS
This approach feeds directly into our EPICS framework, which nurtures your child across five key areas:
- Emotional: Understanding feelings and building empathy.
- Physical: Turning movement into meaningful coordination through obstacle courses.
- Intellectual: Developing logic through STEM manipulatives and patterns.
- Creative: Expressing unique ideas without fear of judgment.
- Spiritual: Practicing mindfulness and breathing to build internal calm.
Beyond the Classroom
Whether it is our 'Color-Symbol-Image' routine or a group mural project, every activity is designed to spark a conversation. We share these moments with parents through regular Gallery Walks because we want you to see exactly how your child is developing—not just academically, but as a confident, curious individual. This is a space where curiosity is treated as a superpower, and we are here to make sure that spark never fades.
Santoshi Singh
I'm Dr. Santoshi Singh. Here in our BEL Layout preschool, I don't see myself as a principal, but as a second parent to your little ones. My days are filled with 'roz naye sawaal' (new questions every day) from our kids, and it’s this raw, beautiful curiosity that drives everything we do here.
