About this collection

We don't just teach festivals; we live them. When we celebrate Onam or Janmashtami, it is not just a party. We use these moments to teach empathy and cultural roots, whether it is through our students creating a collaborative Pookalam or role-playing traditional stories together.

Festivals at our campus serve as live, hands-on learning labs. We integrate our HEUREKA curriculum into these events to make the experience meaningful rather than just performative.

When we celebrate Onam, for instance, it is not just about the flower rangoli. We use the process to teach patience, teamwork, and an appreciation for traditional art. The children spend time handling petals and coordinating their movements, which builds fine motor skills alongside cultural awareness.

Similarly, during our Janmashtami or Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, we focus on storytelling and role-play. By dressing up as characters and performing simple skits, children gain confidence and learn to express themselves. These activities are designed to build their emotional quotient—helping them understand feelings, community, and the importance of coming together.

We keep these events simple, authentic, and focused on the children's experience. You will not see elaborate, adult-driven pageantry here. Instead, you see children learning, laughing, and building memories with their friends and teachers. It is about creating a sense of belonging, where every child feels like they are part of a larger family, right here in Vidyaranyapura.

I'm Dr. Santoshi Singh. To me, a school is a second home where every festival is a family occasion. I love watching our kids go beyond books, learning traditions and togetherness with every flower they place or song they sing.
