Transforming unused rooftops, terraces, and commercial courtyards into productive, thriving edible ecosystems for hotels, schools, and modern workplaces.

The historic RAAS Devigarh palace was one of the first boutique hotels to partner with me back in 2016. Together, we created this beautiful and productive rooftop kitchen garden.

This photo from 2016 shows the very beginning of the RAAS Devigarh project, as my team laid the foundation for what would become a stunning rooftop kitchen garden.

An overview of the sustainable rooftop garden at RAAS Devigarh, Udaipur. This space has been thriving for over six years, providing fresh produce in a luxurious setting.

The garden at RAAS Devigarh is more than just a source of food; it's a living, breathing experiential space for guests to connect with nature.

At RAAS Devigarh, heritage truly meets sustainability. This project is a landmark example of how historic properties can embrace modern, eco-friendly practices.

The garden features 30-40 different plant varieties, including a mix of edible herbs, flowering plants, and native species that create a harmonious and biodiverse ecosystem.

This garden stands the test of time. After six years, it remains a serene and sustainable space, blending nature with the luxury of the hotel.

Rooftop gardens are vital for urban areas. They help reduce heat, purify the air, and promote biodiversity, all while offering a beautiful natural haven.

My vision is to create sustainable green spaces that are both beautiful and functional. This garden at RAAS Devigarh is a testament to that mission.

Fresh supplies harvested directly from the Select Citywalk terrace garden are made available to visitors. This is urban farm-to-table in action.

About Commercial & Landscape Projects

Designing for a commercial rooftop or courtyard requires more than just gardening knowledge. It starts with structural load analysis and waterproofing integrity, ensuring that your green space is a lasting asset that thrives through Delhi's harsh summers rather than a high-maintenance liability.

Our commercial landscape projects are built on the principles of permaculture, creating closed-loop systems that require minimal external inputs. Whether you are managing an 18th-century heritage palace like RAAS Devigarh or a high-footfall location like Select Citywalk, we design spaces that serve a dual purpose: aesthetic enhancement and fresh, organic output.

Why Commercial Edible Landscapes?

We move beyond ornamental greenery to provide functional ecosystems. These spaces reduce ambient heat, manage water runoff, and provide a unique, tangible connection for your guests, employees, or students. Imagine fresh basil harvested from your own terrace being used in your kitchen, or a school garden that becomes a living laboratory for biology lessons.

Our Approach

  1. Structural Integrity: We assess the site for weight-bearing capacity, drainage flow, and sun exposure before laying a single seed.
  2. Low-Maintenance Systems: We implement automated drip irrigation and proprietary soil mixes that ensure plant health even with minimal daily supervision.
  3. Sustainable Yields: We focus on succession planting, ensuring that your garden remains lush and productive year-round. No 'kitabi gyan' (bookish knowledge) here, just reliable, seasonal harvests.

From bamboo trellis systems for climbing vegetables to raised beds for heavy-yield crops, we handle the fabrication and ongoing agronomy support. Your commercial space deserves a garden that grows with purpose, providing shade, cooling, and the unbeatable taste of food picked straight from the mitti.
