My Journey & Philosophy: The Story Behind My Practice

I believe physiotherapy found me, not the other way around. Here is the story of how I transitioned from clinical frustration to creating a safe, empathetic space where we heal through movement, not just medication.

When you come to my clinic, I want you to know you are in a safe space. It's a place for healing, for being heard, and for taking the first step towards feeling better.

My philosophy is that movement is essential for both physical and mental well-being. When life gets hard, focusing on movement through walking, jogging, or dancing can be a powerful tool for healing.

This graphic explains my core belief: physiotherapy enhances your quality of life. It's not just about surviving pain, it's about thriving with strength and confidence.

I believe physiotherapy is about restoring vitality. By addressing the root causes of pain and dysfunction, we help you regain independence and participate in the joys of life.

My focus on holistic well-being ensures that you don't just live, but live well. Embracing every moment with strength and confidence is the ultimate goal of our work together.

Two years ago, I took a risk and started my own clinic. It has been a journey of learning and making a difference in my patients' lives, and I'm grateful to everyone who has been a part of it.

From speaking at conferences to working one-on-one with patients, my mission has always been to serve with love and care. I am grateful for the journey and the clients who believed in me from the start.

As a panelist, I discussed how technology can help us, but it can never replace the human touch. The empathy, critical thinking, and connection a physiotherapist provides are essential for true healing.

Life has a funny way of coming full circle. A past challenge inspired me to start my own clinic, and today, I'm grateful for every step of the journey that led me to where I am.

From a young age, my dream was to make people feel okay. Today, as a physiotherapist using techniques like electrotherapy, I am living that dream by helping you heal and get back to your life.

About My Journey & Philosophy

When you step into my clinic in New Rajinder Nagar, you aren't just a case file or a set of symptoms. I focus on education as much as manual therapy because I want you to eventually manage your own health. Whether you are dealing with chronic spine pain or recovering from an injury, my goal is to get you to that 70-80% recovery mark where I can teach you the home exercises you need to stay independent and pain-free.

From Frustration to Purpose

I didn't start with a perfect plan. After failing the medical entrance, I ended up in physiotherapy by chance. But that first day with a patient in pain changed everything. I realized that as a physiotherapist, I wasn't just fixing bodies; I was healing minds too.

In 2014, after being fired from two jobs, I hit a low point. That’s when I decided to take the leap and start my own practice. It was scary, but it was the best decision I ever made. That journey from being an employee to an entrepreneur is why I built my clinic to be a safe, non-judgmental space—the kind of place I wish I had walked into when I was just starting out.

My Philosophy: Motion is Lotion

My approach is simple: sitting still is rarely the answer. I believe 'Motion is lotion.' Whether you are struggling with orthopaedic issues, post-natal recovery like diastasis recti, or neurological rehabilitation, we don't just rely on passive modalities like TENS or Ultrasound. Those help manage pain, but real recovery comes from active movement.

I combine my background as a certified nutritionist with my orthopedic training to offer a holistic care plan. We don't just fix the shoulder; we look at the posture, the nutrition, and the mindset behind why it hurts.

Why Work With Me?

  • Evidence-Based: No guesswork. Every exercise is backed by science.
  • Holistic Care: From ergonomic counselling to postpartum weight loss, we look at your whole lifestyle.
  • Independence: My success is defined by how quickly you don't need me anymore. I train you to maintain your progress at home.

I’m here to help you thrive, not just survive. Let's start your healing journey.
