Monthly Standard Training
Training Schedule
- Frequency: Classes run 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday).
- Duration: Each session lasts 75 to 90 minutes.
- Batches: Players are segregated by age (Under-10, U-14, U-18) for safety and skill matching.
Skill Development
- Ball Handling: Drills focusing on two-ball dribbling and ambidexterity.
- Shooting: Form shooting, free throws, and perimeter shooting mechanics.
- Conditioning: Agility pole work, cone drills for footwork, and jump-rope intervals.
- Scrimmage: 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 half-court practice matches.

- Yoga: Weekly mat-based yoga sessions on court for flexibility.
- Mentorship: Direct coaching and discipline training.
- Facility: Access to outdoor hard courts with floodlights for evening play.
- Equipment: Usage of academy basketballs, cones, and ladders.

For us at Dream Basketball Academy, basketball is way more than just a game. We run like a real parivaar (family), backing each other up and putting team before everything else. Here, you’re not working for the name on your jersey but for something bigger—your state, your people, and yourself. I always tell my students, "Jo dil mein chhapa hai us pradesh ke liye khelo" (Play for the state you truly feel for).

The Daily Grind
- Basketball drills for beginners and advanced players: dribbling, passing, shooting (from layups to three-pointers)
- Building stamina and speed—lots of jump rope, agility work, and cardio
- Team basketball coaching focused on match prep and real tournament scenarios

My Story
I’m Coach Gagan, and honestly, ball is life for me. Started DBA with one rule: Dare to Dream. On my court, you’ll hear me shouting, pushing, cheering – 'Good try!', 'Change fast!'. I’m not chasing what others do, bas apne tareeke se kaam karta hoon (just doing things my way). My real win? When my students grab gold medals or state team spots. That’s what makes all the hard work worth it.
