Weekday Foundation Program
Core Training Specs
- Frequency: 5 Sessions per week (Monday to Friday)
- Duration: 60 Minutes per session (4:00 PM or 6:00 PM slots)

- Material: Nylon Shuttles (Mavis 350 type) provided
Skill Curriculum
- Basics: Grip correction, serving technique, and standing strokes
- Footwork: 6-corner movement and center-recovery theory
- Drills: Hand-feeding reaction training and shadow practice
Facility & Fitness
- Surface: BWF Certified Green synthetic mats for impact absorption
- Agility: Use of ladders and mini-hurdles for speed
- Requirement: Personal racquet and non-marking shoes are mandatory

- Focus: Lower student-coach ratio (Approx 1:8) for detailed correction
- Material: Feather Shuttles provided for tournament precision

- Drills: 1 vs 2 pressure routines and 2-minute continuous clear rallies
- Speed: Multi-shuttle feeding for reflex and early contact
- Gameplay: Guided scoring matches with strategy breaks

- Exposure: Eligibility for internal Rolling Cup and team events

About Badminton Coaching for Kids & Youth
What I Focus On
I’m Manoj Kumar - NIS certified coach. My style? No shortcuts. I believe in grinding it out, sweating it out, and seeing real progress. If you dream of winning medals or just want to get better at the game, I’ll push you, sometimes a bit too much, but it’s worth it when you see results.
Training Levels
- Starting out? We nail the basics. I’ll keep repeating “grip sahi karo, footwork pe dhyan do” (fix your grip, focus on footwork) till it becomes second nature.
- For kids who’ve got the basics, I bring in tougher stuff - advanced footwork drills, more rallies, some team events. You’ll definitely be running around a lot!
- If you’re chasing trophies, I get loud. Expect intense multi-shuttle practice and match-like simulations. We train to compete at junior tournaments and state-level events.
How We Train
- Regular skill checks - I’ll tell you straight if you’re slacking.
- Fitness is key. Every session starts with warm-up, ends with cool-down. Lots of agility drills.
- Junior badminton training programs and youth shuttle practice sessions are a big part of my coaching.
Summer Camps
April-May, we run summer camps - more fun, more sweat, and a free trial class so you can see how it feels.
Our Court
We train at Battledore Arena, Horamavu. Five BWF-certified courts. Professional vibe, plenty of space to run, jump, and smash.

Hey, we’re Battledore Arena. Manoj Kumar here, NIS certified coach - badminton’s not just a game for me, it’s my world. I get a kick out of seeing students, kids or adults, dig deep and surprise themselves. When someone from our academy lifts a trophy, whether it’s in town or even Bahrain, we celebrate hard. Every win matters, big or small. All I ask: show up, work hard, let’s chase your best together.
