Dance Collaborations and Community
Dance is better when shared. Here is how I connect, learn, and grow by jumping into other classes and inviting talented friends to the floor.
A powerful duet with Dipen Rinchen. Just look at him go! It's always a pleasure to dance with and get inspired by such talented artists.
Twinning with my part-Tamil boy Dipen Rinchen. We always have a great time creating and dancing together. Cheers to many more collaborations.
Stepped into Himanshu Dulani's class and absolutely loved it. It's so important to be a student again and just vibe. Went home with a numb elbow, but it was worth it.
Dancing with the man himself, Himanshu Dulani, in his class. It's great to learn from friends and push myself in a different environment.
A Tamil x Mallu x Punjabi jam session with the one and only Shazeb Sheikh. This collaboration had been in the drafts for almost a year!
With Mr. Mattaboiii himself during our Allstars Experience Tour in Mumbai. It was awesome to connect and share the floor with him.
A workshop collaboration with two of my Tribe members. I often involve my senior students in the creative and teaching process.
About this collection
I never stop being a student. Whether I am stepping into a class by Himanshu or jamming with Upasana, these sessions keep my ego in check and my technique sharp. You will see me sweating and struggling just like you because that is where the real growth happens. It is not about looking perfect for the camera. It is about the uncomfortable, messy work of learning something new.
Why I Keep Stepping Into Other Classes
Some people think a teacher stops learning once they reach a certain level. That is the quickest way to stagnation. I make it a point to step into other studios, like Big Dance Centre or Tangerine, to be on the other side of the mirror. When I am in someone else's class, I am not a mentor. I am just a student with a numb elbow and a desire to get the movement right.
The Allstars Tribe Ecosystem
We are not just about steps. We are about the tribe. My collaborations with artists like Shazeb or Dipen are not just for content. They are vital for my own sanity and creative evolution. When you join my sessions, you get access to this ecosystem. We swap styles, we critique each other, and we keep the vibe honest.
What You Get Out Of It
If you are tired of generic dance classes that promise heaven and deliver nothing, this is where you come to actually work. Whether it is a workshop collab or a drop-in session, expect:
- Direct Feedback: No 'chalega yaar' attitude here.
- Community Energy: You are surrounded by people who are actually there to grind, not just pose.
- Versatility: We move between Jazz, Afro, and Urban, so you never get comfortable.
Come find your own groove, but be ready to sweat for it.

I am Donny, and I have been teaching for over two decades. My studio is part dance floor, part therapy. We do not chase perfection; we chase the rhythm and the grind.
