Inside the Class: The Process & The Vibe

My classes aren't about applause; they're about grit, sweating it out, and finding your rhythm. If you're looking for a space to push your limits, fail, and get back up, you’re in the right place.

This is what my class is really about. It’s chaos, it’s tough, you’ll get called out for being late, and you’ll do burpees. I get nervous, you’ll get nervous. But we show up, we embrace the process, and we grow.

I expect you to get out of your comfort zone. No "It's okay wala nahi" attitude here. In my class, we push for sharpness, we look at the details, the textures, the groove. This is a little chat I had with my students.

My core philosophy: Go full out, make mistakes, fall. Fall again. And then you get up. I can't help you if you're holding back. In my class, we create a space where it's safe to struggle.

We use 90s music to get through a 4-minute plank. Fitness and conditioning are a huge part of my training. And yes, if you're late, you might have to do a Bhojpuri item number solo.

This one is for the books. A 5-hour workshop is no joke, and these are the moments of pure joy and exhaustion that make it all worth it. Look at these happy faces.

This is what the 7th hour of a dance day looks like. Pure, chaotic joy. Dance is my happy place, and sharing it with passionate people is what it's all about.

Here I am breaking down a move for a workshop. It's all about the details, like how to use your shoulders to create a wave-like motion.

About this collection

Don’t come in expecting that “chalega yaar” (it's okay, bro) attitude here. Whether it’s 50 squats for walking in late or holding a four-minute plank to 90s hits, I’m strict about one thing: showing up for yourself. We work on texture, musicality, and that "mujhe karna hai" drive, because growth is messy and that's the only way it happens.

The Allstars Philosophy

My studio is part dance floor, part therapy zone. I don’t believe in teaching steps just to make you look good on Instagram. We focus on 'kaizen'—constant, tiny improvements. When you step into my class, you leave the judgment at the door. You will mess up. You will fall. And then you will get up and do it again. That is where the real learning happens.

The Training & Discipline

My sessions, whether at IFBC Studios in Saket or my traveling workshops in Bangalore, Chennai, and Mumbai, are physically demanding. We start with intense conditioning—isolation drills, planks, and stamina training.

  • Discipline: We have a strict policy. Latecomers pay with 50 squats or burpees. It isn't about being mean; it's about respecting the time and energy of the entire room.
  • Conditioning: You might find us holding a plank for four minutes straight while blasting 90s pop. It’s tough, it’s sweaty, and it’s effective.
  • The Process: We don't just count beats. I teach you to listen, feel, and snap into movements. We focus on texture, musicality, and finding your own version of the movement, not just mimicking mine.

Who This Is For

This is for anyone ready to be serious about their craft. Whether you are a beginner looking to get comfortable in your own skin or a pro-training dancer wanting to sharpen your style—be it Jazz, Afro, or Urban—the focus is always on your growth. If you're ready to embrace the nervousness and just dance, I'll see you on the floor.

I’m Donny, and I’ve been coaching dance for over two decades. I don't run a standard class; I run an intense training space where we chase the rhythm, not perfection. If you're ready to sweat, struggle, and finally own your movement, let’s get to work.
