Dance is a prayer. Whether celebrating the rhythmic energy of Ganesha or the quiet grace of Navadurga, I bring ancient stories to life through Bharatanatyam, transforming your event space into a space of devotion.

A powerful stance from my performance at the Mumbai Natyanjali festival, an offering to Lord Nataraja, the cosmic dancer. The blue background and artwork created a beautiful setting for this devotional piece.

A moment of prayer and gratitude during a performance for Vinayaka Chaturthi. This piece was dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, and was filled with stories of his wisdom and playful nature.

Celebrating the second day of Navratri by paying obeisance to Brahmacharini. Here I am in front of our family's Golu display, using mudras to symbolize the Japamala and Kamandal she holds.

Commemorating the first day of Navratri and the goddess Shailaputri, daughter of the mountains. The mudra here depicts Lord Shiva, her consort, holding the crescent moon and the damaru.

A black and white capture from the Natyanjali performance. The classic feel of this image highlights the timeless quality of the dance and the stories we tell, connecting the past with the present.

Another moment from my offering to Lord Shiva at Natyanjali. The 'Om' symbol and temple lamps in the background added to the spiritual atmosphere of the performance.

A dynamic pose from my Ganesh Chaturthi performance. This particular movement depicts the grand and majestic walk of the elephant-headed god, a favorite story to portray through dance.

Another pose for Shailaputri on the first day of Navratri. The expression and posture here convey a sense of gentle grace and divine beauty associated with the goddess.

A seated pose for Navratri, with my hands in Abhaya and Varada mudra, representing the blessings of fearlessness and compassion that we seek from the Devi.

A close-up portrait from my Vinayaka Chaturthi recital. The traditional temple jewelry, makeup, and serene expression are all part of embodying the divine character for the audience.

About Devotional Storytelling

When I perform a story, I focus heavily on the Abhinaya—the micro-expressions that make the character feel real to the audience. It is not just about the technical footwork or the speed of the rhythm. I work with you to understand the theme of your event so that the music and the movements speak directly to your guests, whether we are invoking Ganesha for a new beginning or retelling a chapter from the epics.
