Rehearsals & Training
- In-Person Sessions: 3 to 4 private rehearsal sessions (60-90 minutes each) at the client's home or a mutual studio space.
- Non-Dancer Focus: Specialized breakdown of steps for beginners with a focus on posture and hand gestures.
- Practice Material: A clearly shot mirror-image tutorial video sent for practice between sessions.
- Final Polish: One final run-through focusing on stage entry, exit, and chemistry.
Squad & Family Group Choreography
Routine Design
- Formation-Centric Choreography: Steps designed for visual impact using geometric formations (V-shape, lines, circles) rather than complex footwork, ensuring everyone looks good.
- Prop Integration: Creative use of props like sunglasses, dupattas, or chairs to add vibe without needing difficult dance moves.
- Medley Mixing: Creation of a high-energy mix combining 2-3 hooks of popular songs to keep the energy up. Total duration approx 2.5 to 3 minutes.
Coaching
- Rehearsal Blocks: 2 to 3 group rehearsal sessions of approximately 2 hours each.
- Crowd Control: Managing group dynamics and ensuring discipline during practice.
- Video Tutorials: Step-by-step breakdown videos shared for remote learning, essential for members flying in from out of town.
Complete Sangeet Show Direction
Event Design & Concept
- Theme Curation: Ideation of a central theme and structuring the performance order to tell a story.
- Master Audio Track: Creation of the entire show's audio file, including transition music, voiceovers, or skits between songs.
- Visual Consultation: Advice on stage lighting cues and LED backdrop graphics to match the choreography.
Comprehensive Choreography
- Song Basket: Choreography for up to 8 performance slots, covering a mix of Solos, Duets, and Groups.
- Remote Support: Ongoing feedback on practice videos sent by the family.
- On-Site Rehearsals: A fixed bank of rehearsal hours (approx 20-25 hours) distributed across the weeks leading up to the event.
The Show Director Role
- Tech Run-Through: Presence at the venue on the event day or prior for a stage blocking rehearsal to check entry/exits and lighting.
- Console Management: Coordinating with the DJ or Sound engineer to ensure tracks are played at the right volume and cue.
- Green Room Coordination: Ensuring groups are ready and lined up before their segment to prevent dead air on stage.
About Wedding & Event Choreography
Dance That Tells Your Story
I see dance as more than just steps - it’s how you share your story with everyone. Weddings are all about family, laughter, and new beginnings. My aim is to help you express all that through movement, so your memories aren’t just photos, but moments you actually lived.
Mixing Tradition & Celebration
My roots are in Bharatanatyam, but I love the energy of big celebrations. I blend classical grace with Bollywood fusion choreography for events, so you get both elegance and fun. Whether you want something traditional or totally filmy, I’ll help you find your style.
What We Can Create
- Couple’s first dance choreography - romantic, playful, or dramatic, whatever feels like you
- Sangeet group dance routines - for family and friends, all ages and skill levels
- Thematic wedding dance performances - I love working with unique themes, from glam rock to classic
No Stress, Just Fun
Beginner? Shy partner? Don’t worry. I’ve been there - making my own husband dance was the toughest part of my wedding! We’ll go at your pace, and rehearsals will be as fun as the big day. Sangeet ka mahaul hi alag hota hai (the vibe at Sangeet is just something else) - my job is to make sure everyone enjoys, no matter how much experience they have.

My Story
Started dancing Bharatanatyam when I was 7, thanks to my Guru, Smt. Revathi Srinivasraghavan. Nrityaranjani, my dance home, is like my second family - rituals, celebrations, prasadam, all of it. Dance just follows me everywhere. Hampi, Varanasi, even my own wedding - somehow, I end up dancing! Made my husband dance too, poor guy. From student to teacher now, it’s all about devotion, discipline, and a bit of madness. Grateful for every step.
My Work
Bharatanatyam performances and workshops - I offer solo recitals, group productions, and workshops in Bharatanatyam.
Teaching with Guru-Shishya parampara - I pass on what my Guru taught me, keeping the traditional Guru-Shishya parampara alive.
Focus on stillness and emotion - Not just speed - I teach how stillness and slow movement can be powerful in storytelling.
Nattuvangam and Jathis - I’m trained in Nattuvangam and rendering Jathis, adding depth to my teaching and performances.
