I believe that champions are made through discipline, not talent alone. Here is the approach and philosophy that drives every session at our academy.

This graphic is the essence of our academy. We believe champions are made one rep at a time through relentless hard work and unwavering discipline.

Speed, Strength, and Stamina are the pillars of a great cricketer. This is the foundation of our training program, designed to build complete athletes.

A news clipping where I shared my opinion on player workload management. I have always believed that playing for the country, especially in Test cricket, must be the highest priority.

An article in the Samna newspaper covering my interview. I spoke about the importance of Test cricket and my belief that players should be rested from leagues like the IPL to stay fit for national duty.

A detailed excerpt from my interview. I emphasize that while a player's talent is important, playing T20-style shots in a Test match shows a lack of situational awareness. Discipline in approach is key.

About In The News & Our Philosophy

When I see a young player on the field, I look for more than just a cover drive. I look for vijigishu vrutti (fighting spirit). My philosophy, shaped by years of Test cricket, is that talent is merely the starting point. Whether you are aiming for the U-16 squad or playing in the Ranji Trophy, your ability to manage your workload and maintain mental discipline on the pitch will define your career. This is what we teach from day one.

The Foundation of Our Training

At my academy, we do not believe in shortcuts. Whether we are training Under-16 squads or preparing players for international exposure, the approach is uniform: sweat, drill, repeat. The physical demands of the sport are absolute, but the mental approach is where a player truly separates themselves.

Why Test Cricket Mentality Matters

In my media appearances and interviews, I often emphasize why fitness for a Test series is fundamentally different from league cricket. You cannot approach a five-day match with a T20 mindset. It requires patience, immense stamina, and the ability to focus under pressure for long hours. We bring this same rigour to our coaching sessions in Pune and Mumbai.

We focus on the following pillars:

  • Workload Management: Understanding when to push and when to recover is a skill. I tell my players that playing for the country is the highest honour, and maintaining peak physical condition is a responsibility.
  • Situational Awareness: A talented batsman who hits big shots but lacks patience in a difficult spell has missed the point. We train our players to value their wicket and read the game situation.
  • Disciplined Routine: From managing your own equipment to showing up for early morning drills, discipline off the field translates to performance on the field.

We are here to guide you through the process of building a sustainable cricket career. If you are serious about your development and ready to put in the hours, my team and I are ready to work with you.
