Why I Take Players Abroad
An international cricket tour isn’t a holiday for me or my players. I see it as a must if you’re serious about making it big in cricket. The UK tour is where you get tough match exposure, real discipline, and a taste of what life is like for Indian cricketers playing abroad. These tours are about pushing yourself, not just turning up for a few games.
What Happens on the UK Tour
- You’ll play on real grass wickets, deal with rain, sun, and everything in between. Adapting to English cricket conditions is a skill you can only pick up here.
- The schedule is packed with matches against proper UK club teams - both 40-over and T20 formats. Every match is competitive. No soft games.
- Fitness is non-negotiable. England dauravar purnapane fit asna far aavashyak aahe (Being fully fit for the England tour is very important) - there’s no shortcut to this.
My Involvement
I’m there on tour, watching every match, guiding you at every step. My job isn’t just to spot talent, but to find that vijigishu vrutti (fighting spirit). You’ll also get to learn from other legends who join us sometimes - real cricket gyaan you can’t find in books.
What You Take Home
Everyone who’s come on these tours comes back sharper. Many go on to do a jabaradast kamgiri keli (tremendous job) in Indian tournaments. If you’re hungry to improve, this is where you start building that base for the next level.

My Story
Folks know me from my days with the '83 World Cup team, and those knocks at Lord's… special memories. Played league cricket in UK, learnt a lot. But now, with this academy, I get to pass it on. I see those hungry young faces, and I’m there on the ground, not just for technique but for sanghbhavana (team spirit). Like our coaches say, 'Sir svatah yeun tumhala margadarshan kartat' (Sir personally guides you). Watching our boys make it big, that’s my real legacy.
My Work
Cricket Coaching for All Age Groups - We train Under 12, Under 16, and Above 17 players, plus run international cricket tours for exposure.
Test Cricket Discipline & Character Building - I focus on discipline, hard work, and building strong character, not just cricket skills.
Top-Class Facilities - Our Pune academy has floodlights, indoor nets, and flight control drills. Khup lucky ahat tumhi asa infrastructure milala.
Personal Mentorship - Me svatah yeun tumhala margadarshan karto (I personally guide you) with one-on-one cricket mentorship and motivational talks.
