Building Champions: The Parent-Coach Partnership

At our academy, cricket success is a team effort. We believe an athlete's journey is shaped as much at home as it is on the pitch, which is why we build strong, transparent partnerships with every parent.

A coach addresses a large gathering of parents at our academy. These meetings are essential for communicating our rules, regulations, and the philosophy behind our training program.

A wide shot of the parents' meeting at our indoor facility. We had an excellent turnout of over 80 parents, all committed to their child's cricketing journey.

Another view of the parent-coach meeting. Open communication ensures that parents understand their role in supporting their child's training, nutrition, and mental well-being.

A smaller, more focused group discussion during the parents' meeting. These breakout sessions allow for more personal interaction and address specific concerns.

A coach speaks passionately during the parents' meeting. We share our vision and expectations, emphasizing the importance of discipline, hard work, and gratitude.

We honored the father of Om Bhosale, one of our successful players, at the meeting. He shared his experiences with the academy and credited our facilities and coaching for his son's success, inspiring other parents.

About The Parent Partnership

Every season kicks off with a mandatory meeting where we lay out the ground rules—attendance, nutrition, and the 'vijigishu vrutti' (fighting spirit) we expect from every trainee. We do not just talk about cricket; we discuss the schedule, your responsibilities, and how you can support your child's discipline off the field to ensure they are ready for the long grind of competitive cricket.

Why We Engage Parents

Cricket is a demanding sport that requires mental toughness and physical endurance. If a child is pushing themselves on the field but lacks the right support or dietary discipline at home, the progress stalls. Our academy, with its 17-year history in Pune, has seen that the most successful players are those who have a unified approach between their coach and their parents.

The Academy Culture

When you join our program, you are not just signing up for coaching; you are joining a community. In our seasonal meetings, we are clear about our expectations:

  • Rules & Regulations: We discuss the importance of punctuality and respect for facilities. Players must care for their equipment and the ground, as this instills a sense of responsibility.
  • The 'What-To-Do' Guide: We provide clear guidance on what parents should do to support their children, from monitoring sleep cycles to managing screen time.
  • Open Dialogue: Whether it is a query about tournament selection, fitness levels, or the transition from cement to turf wickets, we create a forum where these questions are addressed.

Learning from Success

We often invite parents of our most successful trainees, like Om Bhosale, to share their experiences. These stories help new parents understand that the path to the Ranji Trophy or league selection is built on patience and the international-level infrastructure we provide. We do not offer shortcuts. We offer a system where character, fitness, and skill are trained with equal intensity.

If you are ready to invest in a disciplined cricket career, our doors are open to parents who share our vision of hard work and commitment.
