Live Music Fusion DJ Performances
High-voltage electronic beats mixed with live percussion to transform your dance floor energy.
A special moment with the crowd singing along to a Coldplay classic, backed by the powerful energy of a live drummer. This is what live music fusion is all about.
Here I am performing alongside a live percussionist. The combination of my electronic tracks and his live dhol beats creates an infectious energy that's perfect for Indian weddings.
A throwback to a wild wedding gig with a live percussionist. The energy exchange between me, the drummer, and the crowd was absolutely electric.
Sharing a laugh with my friend DJ Prafful during a back-to-back set. Collaborating with other artists always brings a fresh and spontaneous energy to the stage.

Focused and in sync during a collaborative DJ set. Two DJs working together means we can layer sounds and create transitions that wouldn't be possible alone.
A solo moment during a B2B performance. Even when sharing the stage, there are times to take the lead and connect directly with the audience.
About this collection
When I bring a live musician, it is not just a backdrop. We perform a live 'jugalbandi' where my electronic drops and the percussionist’s rhythms are perfectly synced to match the crowd's energy. It is an interactive, high-energy conversation that changes in real-time, which is why we require two extra line-in inputs on the mixer and a dedicated monitor for the musician to ensure the sound stays tight.
The Power of Fusion
Adding live elements to a DJ set does more than just fill the silence. It changes the dynamic of the room. When I collaborate with a percussionist (dhol, octapad) or a violinist, we are not just playing songs; we are crafting a live experience. My job is to maintain the flow and energy with my console while they add texture and organic rhythm that creates an infectious beat. This is perfect for Sangeet nights or high-energy after-parties where you want the music to feel alive.
How It Works
My fusion setup is built for impact. I handle the core mixing, track selection, and visual syncing, while the live artist layers rhythms on top. We work together to create seamless 'drops' where the beat hits harder because it is being reinforced by live drums or strings. This setup is highly customizable based on the vibe you are going for—whether it is a high-bpm dance floor jam or a more subtle, rhythmic vibe for the earlier parts of your event.
Technical Requirements
To make this sound great, there are a few practicalities we need to handle. Because this is a live performance, the technical setup matters. We need two extra line-in/mic inputs on your mixer and a separate stage monitor specifically for the musician so they can hear exactly what I am playing and stay perfectly in sync. If you are planning a mobile setup, like a baraat, please ensure we have access to a stable generator and a secure stage area. My goal is to keep the energy constant, so let us get the technicals sorted early so we can focus on the music.
Harsh Mahant
I have always believed that music is meant to be felt, not just heard. When I loop in a drummer or violinist, the energy in the room shifts instantly—it becomes a conversation between my console and their rhythm. This is how we make sure no one is standing still, from the Sangeet to the final after-party.
