About Self-Defence Classes
What Training Means to Me
I’ve inherited mehanat (hard work) from my family, and I pass that on here. I don’t promise shortcuts. I teach you to put in the effort every single day. For me, Taekwondo is not just a sport, it’s how I live - and how I want you to feel it too.
What You’ll Learn
I start with Taekwondo basics, but I make sure you pick up way more than just kicks and punches. You’ll get:
- Self-defence moves that actually work in real life
- Lessons in discipline, focus, and mental strength
- Structured sessions that build your body and your mind
Who Can Join?
Everyone’s welcome, but I put special heart into kids and juniors (ages 5-13). I also run family self-defence training, so you can learn together - ghar ki feeling (feels like home). Boys, girls, men, women - there’s no barrier here.
How Training Looks
We work hard. You’ll use real equipment, do sparring classes for beginners with full protective gear, and move through colour belt progression. We celebrate every milestone, but I push you to keep improving.
Why Do All This?
Simple. You’ll build confidence through martial arts, get fitter, and grow a strong mindset. Winning medals is awesome, but getting up after a tough day - even better. Ham jeet gye (We won) isn’t just about trophies. It’s about winning at life.

My Story
Sonu here, and this academy is more than a job—it's my life. Hard work runs in our blood, virasat mein mehanat milee hain (we've inherited hard work). I see my kids—Naysha, Rohan, Rudra—standing on podiums, medals shining. Gold, silver, bronze, doesn't matter, their win is my win. Being a referee is nice, but real happiness? Watching my students become champions. We're a family, and we celebrate every victory together. Keep going, champs!
