Here's a look at our foundation batch in action. We start with the essentials, focusing on agility and footwork drills to build a solid base for all advanced Taekwondo techniques. Quick feet and sharp movements are non-negotiable, and I make sure every student masters this from day one.
About Foundation & Agility Training
You won’t find flashy, risky moves in your first few weeks here. We dedicate significant time to ladder drills and footwork patterns because speed and balance are non-negotiable for Taekwondo. You learn to control your body before you start hitting targets. Our sessions are direct, often punctuated with 'Speed se!' as we push for that extra fraction of a second in your movement.
Our Approach to Training
We keep things real. You will sweat, you will likely stumble at the start, and that is part of the process. Our foundation program is designed to move you from basic stance work to controlled, powerful strikes through a structured 12-session monthly cycle.
The Curriculum
- Agility Work: We use ladder drills for footwork and cone drills for speed. This is the cornerstone of our training in Vikaspuri.
- Striking Skills: We cover basic punches like jabs and crosses, along with defensive blocks.
- Kicking Techniques: You will learn foundation kicks including the Front kick and Roundhouse kick.
- Impact Training: We use hand-held focus pads to build power safely.
Program Options
We offer two main tracks for our students. The Monthly Foundation Batch is perfect for beginners, focusing on 12 sessions of agility and stance work. For those looking to compete, our Quarterly Intensive Program includes sparring basics, pattern memorization for belt grading, and advanced conditioning.
Coaching Philosophy
We believe in a 1:15 coaching ratio, ensuring you get personal feedback during your 60 to 75-minute sessions. Whether you are here for fitness or looking to master martial arts, our goal is to build confidence and values alongside physical ability. We welcome complete beginners, athletes, and kids in our evening batches.
