Building Confidence and Community in Kids MMA
We build grit, focus, and real confidence through disciplined training. This is a community where kids learn to handle pressure, respect their peers, and push past their limits.
Here, kids stand shoulder-to-shoulder with their coaches. It's a relationship built on respect and mentorship. I make sure every child feels seen, supported, and part of the team.
We train hard, but we are a team. Here you see the camaraderie that builds on the mats. Kids learn to support each other, push each other, and grow together with their training partners.
Look at the focus. This isn't just physical training; it's mental conditioning. On the mat, kids learn to quiet the noise, listen, and concentrate on the task at hand, a skill that serves them everywhere.
About The Dassault Team: Confidence & Community
This is not a daycare, and it is not just a fight club. When kids step onto our mats, they start understanding the weight of their own actions. We keep our batch sizes tight, with 10 to 15 kids per group, because I need to see exactly how your child reacts when they get tired or when a move feels impossible. It is in those moments that real confidence is built, not when things are easy.
Many parents bring their kids to me asking for self-defense, but they leave with something else entirely: a different way of carrying themselves.
Why the Environment Matters
Our academy in Andheri East is not a high-end gym with fancy lights. It is a utilitarian space with mats and cage walls designed for one purpose: work. When kids train in an environment stripped of distractions, they learn to focus. They are not just throwing punches or practicing grappling techniques. They are learning to manage their space, their energy, and their frustration.
The Role of Community
We do not pit kids against each other for ego. We pair them up to solve problems. Whether it is a wrestling drill or a boxing combination, they learn quickly that they cannot succeed without a partner who is also working hard. This shared struggle builds a natural respect. They become teammates who hold each other accountable.
What We Actually Teach
We focus on three main pillars:
- Fundamentals: Proper stance, movement, and defensive habits that stop bad habits before they start.
- Discipline: Following the coach's commands immediately and maintaining dojo etiquette.
- Resilience: Learning that getting hit or losing a round is just information. It tells you what to fix, not that you should quit.
We provide 12 sessions per month, usually scheduled three days a week to balance with their school life. We also offer advanced athlete access for those kids who want to push into competition prep. Regardless of the level, the goal remains the same: build a tough, cool-headed person who knows their own potential.
