About this collection
Competition is not just about flexibility; it is about performance under pressure. In my advanced batches, we utilize Indian clubs (Gada) and partner-assisted stretching to build the functional strength required for holding high-scoring poses like the Handstand Press or Tittibhasana. You will learn the exact scoring criteria and strategy needed to represent Karnataka or qualify for national championships.
The Path to Competitive Yogasana
My journey from state to national championships has taught me that talent is only the starting point. Competitive Yogasana, recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports under Yogasana Bharat, demands rigorous conditioning. My curriculum is built on this foundation, ensuring every student understands that preparation is a science, not a coincidence.
What You Will Learn
My training goes beyond standard Hatha practices. We focus on:
- Technical Precision: We break down complex poses like the One-handed Peacock and Handstand Press into micro-movements, ensuring safety and alignment that judges look for.
- Conditioning: Using traditional tools like the Gada and specialized drills, we build the core and shoulder stability required to hold poses longer and with better form.
- Strategic Execution: I coach you on posing, hold times, and understanding the Yogasana Bharat scoring system, which is crucial for winning at state and national events.
Who Should Enroll
This program is designed for serious practitioners. Whether you are an athlete looking for cross-training or a dedicated yoga student aspiring to compete, you need discipline. My batches are small, ensuring I can provide the hands-on adjustments and spotting required for advanced inversion practice. We practice in Nagarbhavi and Chandra Layout, following a strict schedule of 90 to 120-minute high-intensity sessions. If you are ready to put in the work required to stand on a podium, we will work together to get you there.
