We’ve been on the front lines of feline rescue in Bangalore for 34 years. Every cat that comes through our doors—hit by vehicles, suffering from illness, or abandoned—gets a fighting chance at medical recovery and a second life.

This community cat was brought to us after an accident left her mouth torn apart, disfigured, and in extreme pain. These are the critical cases our Trauma Center is here for.

She is now receiving intensive treatment under our team's care. An IV line provides fluids and medication as we work to stabilize her and begin the healing process.

A positive sign. After days of refusing food, she is finally showing interest in eating. This is a major milestone in the recovery of an animal with severe facial trauma.

It's a slow recovery, but she is making an effort to eat. This video shows her carefully trying to lap up liquid food, a hopeful step forward.

More progress on her healing journey. She is seen here eating from her bowl, with the wounds on her face visibly starting to heal. Every small step is a victory.

Happy glimpses from our cattery at the CUPA Trauma Centre. Here, cats who are recovering or awaiting adoption can rest, play, and receive affection from our team in a safe environment.

A before and after look at a small kitten who came to us with a severe leg injury and has since undergone surgery.

This ginger cat was rescued with a severe eye injury that required surgical intervention. The 'after' photo shows him healed, safe, and no longer in pain.

This kitten, Ginger, was brought in with a badly injured leg. After surgery and recovery time at our center, he is now healing well.

About Cat Rescue & Recovery Stories

When you call us about an injured cat, our work begins before they even arrive. Our vets prepare for immediate triage—digital X-rays, fluid therapy, and urgent wound debridement—the moment we bring them into the Trauma Centre. We don't sugarcoat the process; the first 24 hours are critical for stabilization. Our goal is to patch them up and, whenever possible, help them return to their home turf or find a safe, forever home if they can no longer survive on the streets.
