We are on the ground in Bangalore 24/7, turning emergency distress calls into recovery stories. Every cat in danger deserves a second chance.

This is the face of a true fighter. Bella, a nursing mother, was rushed to us with eclampsia, a life-threatening condition. Thanks to immediate medical intervention, she bounced back to care for her kittens. Her story highlights the unique dangers mother cats face on the streets.

This was a critical moment for Java, a 5-week-old kitten with a severe neck injury. In this state, he was stable but required intensive veterinary care and monitoring. Supporting us helps cover the costs for such crucial, life-saving treatments.

This is Snowbell's healing journey, day by day. He was rescued with a severe open wound and a mite infestation. This visual timeline shows the intensive, long-term medical care required to treat such injuries and the gradual but steady progress we aim for.

Nandi’s spirit is unbreakable. Though paralyzed from the waist down, his will to live is a powerful force. He represents the many cats we care for who need lifelong assistance, thriving because of the dedication of our incredible volunteers.

This kitten was stranded in a wide drain for over three days. Our rescue team, in partnership with the Samarpan Foundation, was able to get to her just in time. These complex rescues are physically demanding and require quick, coordinated action.

A terrified kitten escaped a dog attack by running up a tree and couldn't get down. Our team was called in to safely bring the little one back to solid ground. It's a common situation, and we're equipped to handle these high-stakes rescues.

This rescue was not for the faint of heart. A cat had fallen deep into a well in Indiranagar, and our team had to perform a technical rescue to bring it to safety. We are grateful for our brave rescuers who make these incredible saves look easy.

About Urgent Rescues & Medical Cases

Our work here is raw and immediate. When we get a call about an accident or an abandoned kitten, we don't have a kennel to fall back on—we rely on our volunteer network to turn a spare room into an intensive care unit. If you are messaging us about a rescue, please include a clear location pin and a photo of the cat's condition so our vet partners can triage the urgency instantly.

Emergency rescue isn't just about the heroic save—it is about the grueling recovery process that follows. Many of the cases we handle, from spinal injuries to severe dehydration and neonatal fading syndrome, require round-the-clock medical attention. We operate as a cloud-based shelter, which means our 'facilities' are the living rooms and bedrooms of our volunteer fosters across Bangalore.

How We Handle Emergencies

When a call comes in, we follow a strict protocol:

  • Triage: Assessing the stability of the cat (e.g., trauma, paralysis, or infection).
  • Transport: Moving the cat to our partner vet clinics in the city.
  • Stabilization: Immediate IV fluids, wound cleaning, and diagnostics like CBC or viral testing.
  • Foster Rehabilitation: Once stable, the cat moves to a foster home where they receive medication, physiotherapy for mobility issues, or hand-feeding for orphaned kittens.

Financial Reality

Treating complex cases—especially those requiring orthopedic surgery or prolonged hospitalization—can cost anywhere from ₹5,000 for neonatal support to over ₹40,000 for complex surgeries. Because we do not have a physical building, every rupee donated goes directly to these veterinary costs. We are transparent about where every donation goes. If you are reporting an emergency or looking to support our medical fund, please reach out directly so we can guide you on the fastest way to help.
