Our Impact in Numbers
These figures are more than just statistics; they are the individual lives we have fought to save on the streets of Bengaluru.
In June & July 2025, our Trauma Centre treated 368 animals. This collage shows just a few of the dogs who received critical care for their injuries.
The breakdown for those months includes 289 dogs, 75 cats, and 4 bulls. These are animals who had no one else to look out for them.
Each of these animals was treated free of cost, thanks to the support of our kind donors. Your contributions directly fund these life-saving treatments.
In May 2025, we saved 175 lives at the CUPA Trauma Centre. This before and after photo shows one of the many animals who recovered from a severe open wound.
April 2025 was another busy month, with 176 lives saved. This dog's journey from a massive torso wound to a healed body shows the impact of our work.
In April, we treated 150 dogs and 26 cats. Here, our team is seen providing emergency care to an injured cat upon its arrival at the centre.
A powerful before and after from April, showing a dog's recovery from a degloving injury on its leg.
About this collection
It isn't just about the 250+ trauma cases we handle monthly. Every number here reflects an emergency call, a late-night ambulance dispatch, and the surgical team at our Sanjayanagara Trauma Centre working to piece a life back together after a road accident or a cruelty incident.
For 34 years, our commitment to Bengaluru's animals has remained the same: we do not turn away. Our trauma centre operates 24/7, not because it is easy, but because the animals on our streets have nowhere else to go.
When you see these numbers—1.5 lakh+ treatments since our inception—it represents thousands of dogs, cats, and large animals who were hit by vehicles, suffering from maggot wounds, or victims of abuse. Our work is entirely free for community animals, which is only possible through the donations of people who choose to support us.
We don't sugarcoat the reality. You will see photos of severe injuries because that is the state in which many animals arrive. But you will also see them months later, healed and often re-homed. Whether it is an amputation for a crushed limb or laser therapy for nerve regeneration, our team uses a mix of science and compassion to give every animal a second chance at life.
We run on a tight budget. Every piece of equipment, from our hydraulic ambulances for large animals to the kennels for post-operative recovery, is funded by those who believe that compassion must be backed by action.
