I do not teach you how to win trophies. I teach you how to stay alert, control your panic, and use your body as a weapon so you can get home safe to your family.

In this self-defense workshop for school students, I demonstrate how to escape from common attacks like wrist grabs and being lifted. The key is to use the attacker's force against them and create an opportunity to run to safety.

A quick look at the different skills we practice. You can see students working on boxing, while others drill grappling holds like the rear naked choke. This variety ensures you are prepared for any situation, standing or on the ground.

Here, two students are practicing ground control techniques from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Learning how to handle a situation on the ground is essential for self-defense, as it teaches you to neutralize a threat without throwing a single punch.

You will learn how to bypass that momentary shock so your body reacts automatically, whether you are trying to escape a wrist grab, an unwanted hold, or a physical threat.
