If you want to throw punches that hit hard and last all round, you need more than just technique. My strength and conditioning workouts for fighters focus on functional power, speed, and endurance to keep you strong in the ring.

About Strength for the Fight

A lot of people think hitting the gym is enough for boxing, but standard weightlifting can actually slow you down if you aren't careful. For fighters, we don't train for beach muscles; we train for function. My workouts focus on explosive rotational power, shoulder endurance, and core stability using tools like kettlebells and sleds. When we do these 5kg dumbbell punch drills, we aren't just working out—we are teaching your muscles to fire fast and hard without burning out after the first round.

Boxing is essentially high-intensity interval training. You need the aerobic engine to keep moving and the anaerobic power to explode into a hook or uppercut. My strength and conditioning philosophy for fighters is simple: if it doesn't translate to the ring, we don't do it.

Whether it’s shadow boxing with light dumbbells to build shoulder stamina or explosive kettlebell swings for hip drive, every movement is designed to mimic fight mechanics. We move tractor tires and push sleds to build the kind of functional, raw strength you need when you're tired in the late rounds.

At my facility in Sector 137, Noida, you won't find machines that isolate one muscle group while your body forgets how to move as a whole.
