Step behind the scenes at Clay Station, where we mix our own glazes, fire kilns, and help our community bring their clay creations to life.

A sneak peek into day one of our Glaze Formulation course. Here, our students are beginning their journey into the chemistry of ceramics, learning to make their very own glazes from scratch.

Our intermediary students are in the final stretch, glazing their creations with focus and passion. It's a beautiful process to witness as they bring their hard work to completion.

Meet Vignesh, one of the all rounders in our Clay Station family. He's a star in warehouse supervision, glaze production, and even on the local cricket field. His dedication is a huge part of our team's success.

About this collection

Pottery is more science and patience than magic. From the precise chemistry required to mix a stable glaze at Cone 6 to the physical effort of wedging clay, our studio process is open and transparent. We believe understanding these technical fundamentals is what turns a hobbyist into a skilled potter, and we share that knowledge openly with every student who walks through our doors.

Our Koramangala studio is the engine room of everything we do. It is where our artists develop new glaze recipes, where students learn the nuances of wheel throwing, and where the community gathers for events like our annual Arangetram showcase. We prioritize practical, hands-on learning. If you are learning the ropes of ceramic art, you will find our workspace equipped with professional-grade tools like Shimpo wheels and reliable slab rollers.

For those who have their own work at home but lack the infrastructure, we provide electric kiln firing services in Bengaluru. We manage the entire firing cycle, from bisque to glaze cycles at 1223 degrees Celsius, ensuring your pieces are treated with the same care as our own. We also stock the raw materials we use daily, including Stoneware clay bodies and our own liquid brushable glazes. Whether you are looking for a dedicated artist residency, a casual team workshop, or just a few hours of studio time, our doors are open. We focus on demystifying the process so you can stop wondering how it is done and start making it yourself.
