A glimpse into my architectural journey, design philosophy, and the sketching process that brings every one of our projects to life.
A photo from 2019, where I was invited to speak on a panel about "Raising the Workplace Performance" at an INFHRA event. I enjoy sharing my insights on how thoughtful design can enhance our work environments.
A clip from my talk for the 'Rebuild India' initiative by ACETECH. I discussed my design philosophy and the future of architecture in a post-pandemic world, emphasizing the need for spaces that support well-being.

This is a core belief that guides all my work. I strive to create environments that do more than just provide shelter; they should enhance life, foster connection, and bring a sense of joy and well-being to the people who inhabit them.
About Behind the Scenes
Every project starts with a simple hand-drawn sketch and a long conversation. I believe design is not just about the final build, but the journey of understanding how light, wind, and space interact on your specific plot. Whether it is a tight Bengaluru urban lot or a larger villa, I use diagrams to walk you through the structural flow and zoning, ensuring you are part of the process from the very first line on paper.
From Sketch to Structure
My mantra, 'Design to Delivery,' means I do not just hand over a set of drawings and walk away. I am involved from the initial site analysis to the final handover. When you work with me, you are getting an architect who spends time on the ground. For urban homes, I provide 8 site visits, while my biophilic villa projects include 15, ensuring that the details we drew—like the position of a light well or the alignment of an MS grill—are executed with precision.
The 'Belaku' Philosophy
Architecture is meant to enhance life, not just provide a shelter. This is why I focus on 'Belaku' (light) and nature. In my design process, I do not just plan rooms; I plan how the sun hits your living room floor at 10 AM, how the breeze travels through your courtyard, and where to place screens for privacy without losing ventilation. This is why you will often see me sketching trees, courtyards, and ventilation paths right alongside the walls.
Why Process Matters
Many clients come to me after struggling with standard designs that do not account for their specific needs or local climate. By using axometric sketches and 3D massing models early on, I help you visualize the volume of your home before any civil work begins. We integrate structural and MEP consultants early in the design phase to prevent costly rework later. If you are looking for an architect who values the dialogue between the land and the building, let us talk about your site.
