Teachings with our Geshes and Community
Our centre is a community space where teachers from the FPMT network and the Sera Jey Monastery guide us through Buddhist practice, study, and shared life.
We are privileged to have senior teachers like Venerable Tenzin Legtsok guide our studies. Here he is pictured at our center, ready to share his deep knowledge of Buddhist philosophy.

About Our Teachers & Community
Our teachers are not distant authorities but accessible guides who blend rigorous monastic training with practical, everyday wisdom. Whether you are curious about the basics of Lamrim or looking to deepen your study of classical texts, our sessions are designed to be a conversation rather than a lecture. You will find that our Geshes, many of whom have studied for decades at Sera Jey Monastery, are as comfortable discussing complex philosophy as they are answering direct questions about your meditation practice.
The strength of our centre lies in our deep connection to the FPMT network and the Sera Jey Monastic University. Our teachers, including Geshe Tenzin Legtsok and Venerable Tenzin Namjong, bring years of intense scholarly study and practical experience to our space in Domlur. They do not just impart knowledge, as they actively show us how to turn Buddhist philosophy into a tool for handling the pressures of life in a city like Bangalore.
The community here is just as vital as the teachings. We are a Dharma Family where long-time practitioners and absolute beginners sit side by side. We emphasize open discussion, Q&A sessions, and communal meals, which help break down the barriers often felt in academic or religious settings. When you join a session, you are not just attending a class, as you are becoming part of a tradition that dates back centuries, made relevant to the modern challenges we all face today.
