About Course Schedules & Announcements
Our program schedule changes monthly to balance foundational courses, advanced text studies, and traditional pujas. Whether you plan to visit us at our Domlur centre or join via Zoom, we recommend reviewing our latest calendar for registration requirements, as some intensive courses require prior sign-up while Sunday sessions are open to everyone.
Navigating Our Schedules
At Choe Khor Sum Ling, we strive to keep our community connected to the teachings through a variety of formats. Our schedule is designed to support both beginners taking their first steps and experienced students looking for depth.
- Sunday Drop-ins: These sessions are open to all, requiring no prior registration. We typically focus on meditation and foundational philosophy, making them ideal for anyone in Bengaluru looking to integrate Dharma into their week.
- Registered Courses: Programs like 'Mind Training Like the Rays of the Sun' or our advanced textual studies require registration. These are structured, multi-week commitments where we study classical texts in detail.
- Hybrid Participation: Most of our offerings are hybrid. If you are in Bangalore, we welcome you to our prayer hall in Domlur. If you are joining from elsewhere, our Zoom sessions ensure the teachings remain accessible regardless of your location.
How to Stay Updated
We frequently announce new teaching series, guest Geshes, and special pujas like Saka Dawa or Losar. Because we update our schedule regularly, we suggest joining our WhatsApp community for the fastest access to Zoom links and last-minute changes.
If you are new to Tibetan Mahayana Buddhism or simply looking for a quiet space to learn, our foundational philosophy courses are the best place to start. We believe that by engaging with the Dharma together, we can cultivate wisdom and compassion in our daily lives. All are welcome, always.
