We partner with Delhi NCR schools to build inclusive, resilient ecosystems. Our sessions focus on empowering teachers, supporting student well-being, and guiding leadership through evidence-based, clinical approaches.

We believe that happy teachers make happy students. This photo shows our team facilitating an immersive training session for over 100 educators at Heritage School, focusing on nurturing teacher well-being to create joyful classrooms.

Our teacher training at Heritage School was grounded in the 5Cs framework: Courage to Connect, Coach, Build Communities, Self-Care, and Commit. This image shows our facilitator explaining these principles to nurture resilient educators.

This session with education counsellors, in collaboration with New Zealand Education, focused on enhancing their capacity to guide students with empathy and psychological insight. Dr. Sen emphasized mental health awareness in the decision-making process.

We conducted a 2-day workshop at Nirmal Bhartia School for students from grades 9 to 12, exploring the emotional terrain of adolescence. Discussions included topics like stress, anxiety, and making sense of relationships.

We were grateful to Salwan Public School for placing leadership wellbeing at the forefront. Dr. Amit Sen spoke to principals and vice principals on redefining mental wellbeing for sustainable leadership, a crucial part of creating resilient school ecosystems.

We were proud to present our work at the International Conference on Child and Adolescent Mental Health 2024 in Kathmandu, Nepal. This image shows the main stage where global experts gathered to discuss collaborative care.

Our senior psychologists, Soumya Jagatdeb and Thwisha Bajpai, at the ICCAMH 2024 conference. They presented our framework for training psychologists and teachers in Delhi Government School Health Clinics, highlighting schools as hubs for social change.

Dr. Amit Sen and Ankita Khanna lead a workshop on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) for parents and caregivers. We offer a buzzing annual training calendar for teachers, parents, and mental health professionals.

Through our Communities That Care program, we collaborate with institutions like IIT Gandhi Nagar. Here, Ankita Khanna presents expert notes on the mental health of young adults, extending our reach to support youth nationwide.

Dr. Shelja Sen participates in a panel discussion at the India Conclave on the 'State of Mind'. We actively engage in public forums to advocate for youth mental health and build a wider community of concern.

About School Workshops & Educator Training

We do not believe in one-off lectures that fade from memory the moment a workshop ends. When we train educators, such as our recent sessions at Heritage School, we center the work on the 5Cs framework, which covers Courage to Connect, Coach, Build Communities, Self-Care, and Commit. We prioritize the emotional well-being of the adults in the room because we know that a school can only be as resilient as the people who lead it.

Building Resilient School Ecosystems

Our approach to school workshops is grounded in 16 years of clinical practice. We understand that schools are complex communities where mental health, academic pressure, and social dynamics intersect daily. Our goal is to shift the school culture from one of reactivity to one of proactive, sustainable support.

For Educators and Counsellors

We offer specialized training that goes beyond basic awareness. Our sessions help teachers identify the difference between behavioral issues and underlying emotional needs. We provide tools for:

  • Teacher Well-being: Burnout is real. We run workshops that help educators reconnect with their purpose, manage stress, and practice self-care as a professional necessity.
  • Neurodiversity-Affirming Practices: We guide staff on how to adapt classroom environments to support diverse learning styles, moving away from a one-size-fits-all disciplinary model.
  • Counsellor Capacity: We collaborate with bodies like the New Zealand High Commission to sharpen the skills of school counsellors, focusing on empathy, mental health awareness, and informed decision-making.

For Students

Adolescence is a time of immense change. We conduct age-appropriate workshops for grades 9 through 12, such as those held at Nirmal Bhartia School. These discussions provide a safe space to talk about:

  • Stress, anxiety, and the pressure of expectations.
  • Understanding relationships, conflict, and personal boundaries.
  • Navigating the emotional terrain of growing up in an increasingly digital world.

For Leadership

We work with principals and vice-principals on the administrative and cultural aspects of mental health. Our leadership workshops focus on creating school policies that support sustainable well-being, ensuring that mental health is treated as an ongoing practice rather than a one-time solution. Whether through collaborative conferences or in-school training, we are committed to helping schools become hubs of social change.
