You’ll meet a team of psychologists, psychiatrists, and therapists who view our 'Ubuntu' philosophy of interconnectedness as the foundation of every session. Whether it's our team celebrating a 10-year work anniversary or our co-founders representing India on global mental health stages, our culture is rooted in genuine connection. We don't just work with children; we build a village around them.
Our Philosophy: Neurodiversity-Affirming Care
For over 16 years, Children First has operated on a simple, powerful truth: each child is wired and inspired differently. We have intentionally moved away from the 'deficit model' of therapy. Instead, we practice neurodiversity-affirming care. This means we don't expect children to 'fit into a mold.' We shape our care to meet them exactly where they are, respecting their unique rhythms and ways of relating to the world.

Our strength lies in our people. From our co-founders, Dr. Amit Sen and Dr. Kavita Arora, who bring decades of experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, to our dedicated team of therapists who have been with us for years—we function as a community.
