From emergency rescues to the joy of forever homes, this is a look into our daily mission. We balance the heartbreak of the streets with the hope of second chances.

This is why we do what we do. Shadow, an Indie adopted from our shelter, showing how gentle and loving our local dogs are with even the smallest family members. All they need is a chance to prove it.

This is the reality of our daily work. The video starts with our ambulance on a rescue call and shows the critical condition many animals are in when they reach us. Our trauma care is their first step towards healing and a new life.

Not all rescues are straightforward. This little kitten led our team on a two-hour chase up a tree, only to decide she'd come down on her own terms. It shows the patience and creative thinking our CARE Force team brings to every rescue.

We want to be transparent about our challenges. This video explains the heartbreaking reality of why we sometimes have to say "we are full". Our shelter is built for 160 animals but often houses over 175, and we can't risk overcrowding.

We operate at over-capacity, housing 175+ animals in a space built for 160. Because we prioritize the health and safety of every resident, we sometimes have to say no to new intakes. This transparency keeps our trauma care effective, ensuring that every animal we do admit gets the individual attention they need to recover.

This is Chandra, a true survivor. After a street accident damaged her hips, she came to us to heal. Now, she's a sweet, docile girl who loves quiet moments in the sun and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She is a testament to the resilience of rescue animals and is waiting for a peaceful home.

This is an example of our adoption amplification service. Bruno, a playful 2.5-month-old Gaddi puppy, was rescued in Shimla and needed a home. We help spread the word for dogs like him all across India.
Our missing pet alerts help reunite families. When Pogo went missing from a dog boarding in Bengaluru, we quickly mobilized our network to get more eyes on the ground, helping his desperate family in their search.

This is what it's all about. A moment of pure, gentle connection between a child and a rescue dog at one of our adoption drives. Teaching compassion from a young age is the foundation of my work, and moments like this give me hope for a kinder future for our animals.8
Here I am, arm in a sling and all, conducting a compassion workshop at Lawrence High School. An accident couldn't stop me from sharing my passion. It's so important to teach children how to safely and respectfully interact with community animals, and my own Indie, Miney, is the perfect co-teacher.
Just look at this hopeful face. This is a 1.5-year-old Indie mix we rescued from the street, now looking for her forever home. She is calm, affectionate, and a perfect example of the loving companions our Indian dogs can be when given a chance.
