Aerial Silks Classes for Beginners in HSR Layout
Think you can't fly? Whether you are 20 or 50, our aerial silks sessions in HSR Layout are designed to help you build real strength, find your flow, and learn to hang upside down with confidence.
This group pose from our Navaratri celebration shows the variety of foundational skills in action. From basic seats to more challenging inversions, everyone contributes at their own level to create something beautiful together.
This shows the building blocks of aerial silks. You'll see students working on different grips, hip keys, and inversions. These fundamental movements are key to building the strength and muscle memory for aerial arts.
Welcome to the upside down life! Inversions are a huge part of aerials, helping to build upper body and core strength while being incredibly fun. We guide you through each step to get you comfortable and confident hanging inverted.
About Poses & Foundations
You do not need to be a gymnast to start. In your first session, we focus entirely on how to safely grip the fabric, understand basic foot locks, and perform simple climbs. We keep the class size controlled so you get plenty of hands-on spotting while you learn your first few poses, with thick crash mats underneath you every step of the way.
Aerial silks is less about raw acrobatics and more about understanding how to move your body through space. Our 'Poses & Foundations' cluster is built for people who want to move away from treadmill routines and try something that challenges both the brain and the muscles.
Why Start Here?
Most people worry about upper body strength when they walk in. The truth is, that strength is a byproduct. We start with simple, controlled movements that help you get comfortable with the height. You will learn:
- Fabric Grips & Locks: The essential safety techniques that keep you secure on the silk.
- Inversions: How to go upside down safely, which is often the biggest mental hurdle for beginners.
- Conditioning: Simple, consistent drills that improve your grip and core endurance without the boredom of a typical gym.
The HSR Layout Studio
We train in an industrial warehouse space designed for movement. It isn't a polished fitness studio with mirrors everywhere; it is a workshop for skills. You will see our Parkour athletes training alongside you, which creates an energy that is hard to find elsewhere. We prioritize safety above everything, which is why we invest in professional-grade equipment and high-density mats for all our aerial arts programs.
Whether you are looking to master a specific pose like the 'Back Dive Star' or you just want a weekend activity that makes you feel capable, we meet you where you are. Just show up, listen to the safety cues, and be ready to learn.
