About Advanced Flips & Aerials
You won't find harnesses or expensive machines here. We focus on conditioning using your own body weight, high-density crash mats, and manual spotting to build the height needed for double flips and twists. If you are serious about learning these moves for a movie or just to test your limits, come ready to put in the hours, because there are no shortcuts to landing a clean aerial.
Our Approach to Aerial Training
Advanced flips aren't about luck; they are about repetition. At Chang Lean, we break down complex moves like double backflips and full twists into manageable steps.
The Progression:
- Foundation: We start with proper round-offs and back handsprings. If your base is weak, you cannot fly.
- Spotting: When learning a new twist or flip, I provide manual support. You focus on the rotation while I ensure you land safe.
- Conditioning: Aerial moves require explosive leg power and core strength. We train this on the ground, in the park, and on mats until it becomes muscle memory.
Why Train With Us?
Whether you are an actor prepping for a fight sequence or a student wanting to learn gymnastics, the training remains the same: practical, safe, and intense. We teach in open-air settings and established fitness centers in Basaveshwara Nagar and Rajajinagar. We don't just teach the move; we teach the technique so you can perform it repeatedly without injury. This is 'sadhane' (achievement). If you put in the work, you will see the results.
Common Skills We Master:
- Double Backflips: Building height and tuck timing.
- Full Twists: Understanding spatial awareness in the air.
- Aerial Combos: Linking round-offs to back handsprings and twists for cinematic flow.
