Step inside my workspace, where forgotten scraps and heritage fabrics are slowly transformed into pieces with a soul. This is where I stitch history and art together.

A look at my hands-on process, stitching vintage Lambani mirror-work patches onto a linen base for a custom throw.

Me in my studio, holding bundles of colorful fabric scraps. These are the building blocks for my improv quilts, each one a precious piece of a future story.

I believe in sharing the stories behind the craft. I film my process and share these journeys on YouTube, like this one about a project blending Balinese and Indian textiles.

About A Glimpse into My Studio

Every piece here starts with a conversation about what you need and what we can salvage. When you commission a piece, you aren't just buying decor. You are deciding which vintage patches or color palettes will anchor your home's story.

My studio is where the quiet work happens. It is a space filled with salvaged teak, stacks of hand-dyed textiles, and unfinished paintings. I believe that everything has a past, and my role is simply to help that history speak a little louder. Whether I am restoring a vintage clock frame or stitching a quilt from studio offcuts, the process is intentionally slow.

The Restoration Process

When you see a restored teak clock frame on this page, you are looking at a piece of wood that has likely survived for decades. I treat these frames with the respect they deserve, sanding and sealing them before adding Pattachitra or Company School style artwork. The brass Prabhavali (halo) often acts as the centerpiece, turning a functional object into something that feels like a sacred space.

Custom Collaborations

Most of the work you see here is the result of a back-and-forth dialogue. If you have a specific space in mind, we start by looking at your color palette and the type of narrative you want to build. Maybe you have old fabrics that hold sentimental value, or perhaps you are drawn to a specific tribal embroidery style like Banjara or Lambani. I work with these elements to create something entirely new, ensuring the final piece feels grounded in your personal journey.

Sustainability in Practice

I avoid mass production entirely. By utilizing studio offcuts, vintage coins, and discarded wood, I aim for a zero-waste practice. Each textile throw or patchwork runner is non-replicable because the scrap availability dictates the final composition. This means what we create together will always be a one-of-a-kind piece, tailored to your home and your values.
