About Custom Furniture Restoration & Upcycled Decor
Why I Do What I Do
Objects have stories. I see old trunks, broken clock frames, and forgotten boxes as storytellers, waiting for someone to listen. My thing is finding beauty in what most people would call junk. I’m all about giving these pieces a second chance, not just a makeover.
What I Restore & Reimagine
- Upcycled vintage trunks - sometimes with full-on Banjara vibes, coins, tassels, Afghan jewellery, all that jazz.
- Custom memory box decor - made from salvaged teak, perfect for letters, jewellery, or just random keepsakes. Especially hits home for folks missing India.
- Heirloom prabhavali transformation - I turn discarded temple arches and old clock frames into wall art, mixing digital and hand-painted work.
- Architectural bits - old camphor wood panels, sometimes with new brass elements, always with a nod to the past.
My Process
Restoration comes first. I clean, fix, and prep each piece. Then comes the art - hand-painting, decoupage, layering digital archives, whatever fits. Sometimes I frame the final piece on Banarasi silk with zari butas (gold thread motifs) for that extra touch.
Inspirations
My work pulls from Indian folk art restoration - Kalamkari, Pichwai, Pattachitra, Hindu mythology, Dasavatara, Navagraha. It’s a mashup of tradition and personal stories.
Custom Commissions
If you’ve got a family heirloom or something with a story, I can help turn it into mixed-media furniture art you’ll actually want to show off. Let’s make something that feels like you.

My Story
I’m a bit of a magpie, honestly. Artist, photographer, wanderer. My thing? I collect stories—old textiles from Bali, heritage bits from Hoi An, even my grandma’s Kachin weave tossed on my bed. My house is a museum of lived-in memories. I believe in surrounding myself with things that have a past, a soul. That’s why I do what I do—keeping these stories alive, not just tucked away.
My Work
What I Do - Restoration art, custom hand-painted furniture, upcycled textile wall art, apparel (Nyaas), and art photography & styling.
Upcycled Textile Art - I turn scraps—tribal embroidery, mirror-work—into new, slow handcrafted decor. Nothing is ever just waste.
Restoration & Hand-Painting - Old trunks, wood panels, clock frames—I restore and hand-paint them, mixing in Kalamkaari or Pattachitra influences.
Blending Traditions - Love mixing Balinese Ikat with Kutch embroidery or Songket with Banarasi silk. It’s cultures chatting on fabric.
Custom Work Together - If you want something rooted in tradition, we’ll chat and create a unique, personal textile or decor piece.
