I transform discarded, vintage clock frames into sacred spaces. These pieces combine hand-painted Pattachitra iconography with antique brass Prabhavalis to honor the divine feminine in your home.

A hand-painted tribute to the goddess Durga, framed within a restored vintage clock and a salvaged Prabhavali. The artwork is inspired by puja pandals and features the Shakti parivaar, blending Pattachitra tradition with restoration art.

The Durga frame displayed against a wooden jharokha, highlighting its traditional yet contemporary appeal. The piece is adorned with handmade tassels and bells, adding to its protective, dreamcatcher-like quality.

This is my hand-painted homage to Laxmi, the goddess of prosperity, set within a reclaimed clock frame. The artwork is filled with symbols like owls and lotuses, all rendered in the Pattachitra style and surrounded by colorful, found-object trims.

A detail shot of the vintage Prabhavali at the center of the Laxmi frame. The hand-painted image of the goddess is nestled within this salvaged brass halo, creating a focal point of divine energy.

This image highlights the beaded and shell-adorned fabric charms that I create from studio scraps to embellish the Devi frames. These small details are an essential part of my zero-waste process and add a unique textural element.

My hand-painted dedication to the fierce goddess Kaali, captured in a beautifully styled flat-lay. The artwork is set in a restored clock frame, with a checkerboard background and a border of hibiscus flowers and Kaali faces.

A detail shot of the Kaali frame, focusing on the hand-painted Sanskrit mantra and the powerful imagery of the goddess. The red and black color scheme evokes her fierce, divine feminine energy.

About The Devi Frames: Homage to the Divine Feminine

Each frame is unique because the teak clock bodies are salvaged finds, not mass-produced bases. I spend weeks sourcing the right brass Prabhavali to match the specific energy of the hand-painted goddess, ensuring that the piece—whether it is Durga, Laxmi, or Kaali—feels like a living, breathing part of your space rather than a static wall hanging.
