This is a close-up of a commissioned charcoal pencil portrait. The focus was on capturing a kind and thoughtful expression, with careful attention to the fine lines and the reflection in the glasses to achieve a lifelike quality.4
Here is the finished and framed version of the portrait. I believe the presentation is as important as the art itself, and I use professional framing with a neutral mat to complement the monochrome drawing and ensure it is ready to be displayed.
This is another example of a commissioned portrait, professionally framed. My process involves working closely with clients to understand the person I am drawing, which helps me to bring out their warm and approachable nature in the final piece.
