Realistic Family and Children Pencil Sketches
I turn your family photographs into detailed, hand-drawn portraits that capture real expressions and memories. Each piece is drawn on premium ivory sheets with graphite and charcoal, made to last a lifetime.

About Cherished Moments: Family & Children
I use the grid method for every family portrait, which helps me get the proportions exactly right even if your reference photos are from different angles. It is a bit of extra work, but it ensures the final drawing looks like your loved ones, not just a random sketch.
Turning a family photo into a sketch takes patience and attention to detail. I start by mapping out a grid, which allows me to scale up the facial features accurately on 210+ GSM ivory sheets. Whether you have one clear photo or need me to merge separate images into a single cohesive family composition, I work with charcoal and graphite to capture the specific light and shade of those expressions. You get a raw, handmade piece of art, not a print or a digital copy. It is just a drawing that captures the specific way your child smiles or the bond between parents. Because these pieces are delicate, I seal every finished sketch with a matte fixative spray to keep it smudge-free. I do not frame the pieces myself to ensure they arrive safely via shipping, but the drawing is ready for you to frame and hang up the moment it reaches your home.
