Cherished Family Portraits: Custom Sketches from Your Photos
I transform your favourite family photos into detailed, hand-drawn portraits. Whether you want to capture a couple or merge multiple generations into one cohesive frame, I create memories that last.
This was a very challenging but rewarding family portrait for a client from Telangana. I combined multiple photos and made many adjustments to create this single, cohesive A2 size colour sketch.

This is the kind of vibrant, hyper-realistic art I love to create for couples. I used Brustro colour pencils on A3 paper to capture every detail of their special moment, making it a perfect wedding gift.
About Cherished Family Portraits
Merging separate photos into one family portrait is a challenging part of my process, but it is one I genuinely enjoy. I carefully adjust the composition and blend skin tones to ensure everyone looks connected in the final sketch, regardless of where they were originally photographed.
Creating a family portrait is about more than just drawing faces. It is about capturing a moment that might have only existed in separate pictures before. When you share your photos, I spend time planning the layout to ensure the final piece feels natural and connected.
For large groups, I typically work on A2 size fine art canvas paper. This gives me the space to maintain the quality of every face, especially when I am merging separate photos into one group. Whether it is a father-son moment or a generational family photo, I use high-quality 200 GSM Brustro paper and either graphite or colour pencils to bring out the depth and expression.
I know how important this artwork is to you, which is why I never rush. A large composite drawing can take 45 to 50 hours of work. Every portrait is sprayed with a professional fixative to prevent smudging and shipped in a sturdy, moisture-resistant PVC tube so it reaches you in perfect condition.
I personally handle every enquiry, so please reach out directly here to discuss your ideas. I am always happy to answer questions about the process or help you choose the right style for your family photos.
