Hand-Drawn Family and Couple Portrait Sketches
Turn your favorite photographs into timeless art. Whether it is a couple, a growing family, or a tribute to a loved one, I capture the emotion behind every face in custom charcoal or colored pencil sketches.
A special charcoal sketch for an expecting couple, celebrating their journey to parenthood. This A3 portrait was created to be as smooth and gentle as the moment itself, a beautiful keepsake of this precious time.
Don't have the perfect group photo? I can help. For this A3 charcoal portrait, I combined five separate photographs of a couple and their beloved huskies into one cohesive family sketch, creating a memory that never existed in a single frame.
The tender bond between a mother and her daughter, immortalized in a custom pencil color sketch. I used Prismacolor pencils on Strathmore Bristol paper to capture the soft expressions and the playful pattern of their matching outfits.
A beautiful family captured in a custom A3 charcoal sketch. I focused on the joyful interactions between the parents and their twin babies, creating a piece full of love and connection.
A vibrant pencil color sketch celebrating the beautiful bond between a brother and sister. The bright yellow background makes their happy expressions pop, creating a joyful and personal piece of art.
A custom A4 charcoal sketch of a couple, commissioned as a special gift. I paid close attention to the intricate embroidery on their traditional outfits to make the portrait truly personal.
Another A4 couple portrait delivered to the same client. It's an honor to be trusted to create multiple pieces for a family, capturing the unique personalities of each couple.
This portrait is a special commission where I combined two different photos of a beloved grandmother into one piece. Using Prismacolor pencils, I was able to merge the references to create a single, heartfelt tribute.
A custom mother-daughter portrait, seen here on my work desk. This 9x12 inch sketch was made with a full set of 72 Prismacolor pencils on smooth Strathmore paper to ensure the colors are bright and the art lasts a lifetime.

About Family & Couple Keepsakes
Don't have that perfect group shot where everyone is looking at the camera? I specialize in combining subjects from separate photographs into one cohesive, hand-drawn composition. Whether it is adding a loved one who could not be there or merging distinct memories into one family frame, I ensure the final sketch feels natural and heartfelt.
Every portrait I create starts with the intent to capture the light in the eyes and the unique personality of the subjects. My work serves as a window to your memories, whether you choose the classic, soulful depth of charcoal or the vibrant, lifelike detail of Prismacolor pencils.
The Artistic Process
When you commission a piece, we begin by selecting your favorite photos. You might love the expression in one, but prefer the pose in another. I can merge these references into a single, harmonious sketch. I work primarily on high-quality Strathmore or Fabriano paper, ensuring that the final artwork is not just a drawing, but a lasting keepsake.
Choosing Your Medium
- Charcoal & Graphite: This is for those who appreciate the timeless, dramatic feel of black and white. It is my preferred medium for capturing deep, emotional portraits. I use professional fixative sprays to protect your piece against smudging.
- Prismacolor Realism: If you want to capture the vibrancy of a special outfit, a specific skin tone, or a colorful moment, this is the way to go. I use wax-based pencils to achieve a smooth, painterly effect that brings your memories to life in full color.
My Promise
I treat every commission with the same care I give to my personal spiritual art. Whether it is an A4 portrait or a larger A3 family composition, I share progress updates to make sure the sketch feels right. Each piece is packed securely to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. Remember, as I always say, 'Sabse pehle, start with your heart.' The rest just follows.
