Hand-drawn Family & Couple Portraits

When you commission a family or couple portrait, I do not just replicate a photograph. If you have separate photos of your loved ones, I can merge them into a single, cohesive composition. This allows you to create a shared memory, like bringing a partner or a parent into a scene where they were not physically present, ensuring your portrait tells the full story of your bond.

How I Create Your Portrait

Every piece begins with a resolution check of your reference photo. I use professional-grade Steedtler and Faber Castell graphite and charcoal powder on heavy, acid-free paper to ensure your portrait stands the test of time.

My Workflow:

• Drafting: I share a work-in-progress image once the initial sketch is laid out, so you can see the direction of the art.
• Refinement: For A3 memorial or complex family pieces, I include rounds of adjustments on facial expressions to capture that specific, cherished look.
• Protection: Each sketch is finished with a clear matte fixative spray to prevent smudging, then mounted in a solid, 1-inch synthetic wood frame, ready to hang.

Choosing Your Size:

• A4 (Single Subject): Best for a focused portrait. It gives you a clean, detailed look at the face, ideal for birthdays or solo milestones.
• A3 (Couples & Families): Perfect for two or more subjects. This size allows me to capture the dynamics between people, making it my recommended choice for couple anniversaries or family tributes.

Everything is packed securely in multi-layer bubble wrap and thermocol, so your memories arrive safe, no matter where you are in India.
