My Approach to Calm, Confident Birth Education
I bridge the gap between medical intervention and your natural ability to birth. Through evidence-based online sessions, I guide you to reclaim your confidence and trust your body's wisdom.
I am proud to be a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. This certification reflects my commitment to providing you with evidence-based, mother-centered care that helps you advocate for yourself and make informed decisions about your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.
I believe that birth is a normal, powerful life event, not a medical problem to be solved. This philosophy guides all my work, from birth preparation to postpartum support, helping you trust your body's innate wisdom and have a more positive, empowering experience.
Movement is key to preparing your body for the demands of labor, birth, and motherhood. My online prenatal and after pregnancy yoga and fitness sessions are designed to help you find balance, calm your mind, and connect deeply with your body and baby.
Your fitness level, not your age, is a key factor in your pregnancy and recovery. It's never too late to take charge of your health. My online yoga and fitness sessions provide a foundation for your well-being and the thriving health of your newborn.
My online classes are designed to guide you through the miracle of pregnancy and birth. By understanding how your body works, you can feel more calm, cope with labor smoothly, and reduce the chance of unnecessary interventions for a safe and rewarding birth experience.
About My Approach & Online Sessions
My sessions go beyond standard textbook advice. We blend ancient Yoga and Ayurveda with modern science to handle the real, messy parts of birth and recovery. Whether we are troubleshooting a latch or planning for postnatal healing, we focus on what works for your specific life rather than a one-size-fits-all plan.
A Different Path to Birth
I am a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator because I believe in evidence-based care. The over-medicalisation of birth often leaves parents feeling like they are patients, not partners in their own care. My work is to fill that information gap, helping you and your partner feel calm, capable, and ready for what comes next.
How We Work Together
Every family is different, which is why my sessions are entirely tailored to your needs. Whether you are prepping for labor or navigating the postpartum period, I offer:
- Birth Preparation: We cover labor stages, pain relief without medicine, and how to advocate for yourself in a hospital setting. We focus on keeping you calm and informed.
- The Fourth Trimester: Postpartum is not just about the baby. I help you navigate the emotional waves and physical recovery—whether you had a vaginal delivery or a C-section—using the R.A.I.N. mindfulness framework (Recognise, Allow, Investigate, Nurture).
- Newborn Wisdom: Babies have their own language. I teach you to read their cues, from the 9 instinctive stages to soothing techniques like the 'I Love You' massage for colic relief.
- Practical Support: My online sessions are available in English and Kannada. We use real-time correction for breastfeeding, hand expression techniques, and clear, actionable plans for your daily routine.
My goal is simple: to help you trust your body, let go of fear, and meet every contraction as progress. If you are looking for support that respects your choices, we should talk.
