About Sweet Beginnings: Baby & Milestone Cakes

I know that for a baby shower or a first birthday, the cake is the centerpiece of your event photos, but it still has to be delicious. I often get asked if a cute, theme-based design means compromising on flavour. My answer is no. I stick to smooth buttercream or ganache finishes, using minimal fondant strictly for the little figurines like teddy bears or elephants. This way, you get a cake that looks dreamy and whimsical but tastes like actual, fresh cake, not just sugar paste.
