Turn Your Child's Stories into a Published Book
Give your young writer the tools to craft, edit, and see their work in print. My creative writing workshop turns raw ideas into a professional, published anthology.
This flyer details my 'Write and Publish' workshop, a unique 10-hour online program for aspiring young authors. It covers everything from story weaving and editing to getting published and even includes an offline book launch.
About this collection
I intentionally keep these batches very small so I can personally sit with your child and edit their drafts. We do not just write; we refine plot points, sharpen dialogue, and prepare the manuscript until it is ready for that final, ISBN-registered anthology.
From First Draft to Printed Book
Writing is a journey, and I make sure your child does not walk it alone. My 'Write and Publish' program is designed for children aged 10 to 17 who have a spark for storytelling but need a roadmap. Over 10 to 14 hours of intensive, small-group training, we break down the daunting process of writing a book into manageable, fun steps.
What We Cover
- Story Architecture: We start with the 'Why'. We build characters that feel real and plots that make sense. If a story feels flat, we find out why and fix it together.
- The Editing Process: This is where the magic happens. Your child learns that writing is actually rewriting. I provide hands-on coaching, helping them trim the fluff and find their unique voice.
- The Publishing Standard: This is not a hobby project. Every book produced in this workshop is published as an ISBN-registered anthology. They hold a real book with their name as a contributing author.
The Celebration
Learning should feel like a victory. We conclude the program with an offline book launch—or a graduation event—where your child gets to celebrate their achievement. It is a big moment to hold their own copy, and I see the confidence in their eyes change every single time. Whether your child is a budding novelist or just wants to tell their first folktale better, this workshop gives them the structure to turn a notebook full of ideas into a finished, published work.
Bukmuk
Hi, I am Shefali. I am an engineer, a storyteller, and a mom who believes that every child has a unique voice waiting to be heard. I started these writing workshops to bridge the gap between a child's imagination and the reality of seeing their name on a published book cover.
