We don't just teach writing, we help you finish it. See how our community members have transformed their rough ideas into poetry collections, novels, and award-winning stories.

We launched! 'The BWW Book of Emerging Poets' is out in the world, featuring 39 emerging global poets and 116 poems. We promise there's a poem for everyone in this collection.

A look inside our book launch at the Bengaluru Poetry Festival. Hear from me and some of our newly published poets about their journey from workshop participants to published authors.

A proud moment as I present our new anthology, 'The BWW Book of Emerging Poets', on stage at the Bengaluru Poetry Festival. This is a celebration of our poets' hard work.

Our new poets featured on Scroll.in! An excerpt from 'The Bangalore Writers Workshop Book of Emerging Poets' was shared, giving a glimpse of the powerful new voices in our anthology.

Celebrating another BWWer's success! Highlights from the launch of a member's translation, 'On the Banks of the Pampa', at Champaca Bookstore, surrounded by the supportive BWW community.

Another BWWer's book is out! We're so excited to get our copies of 'Everyday Haiku' by our very own Sarita Talwai. The book is a beautiful collection of poetry with perfect illustrations.

A peek inside 'Everyday Haiku', a beautiful book of poetry and illustrations by one of our talented workshop members. We love seeing our writers' work in print.

A surreal moment. Seeing books by BWW writers placed at the great John Milton's house was an unexpected and incredible gift. Paradise Regained, indeed!

So incredibly proud of BWWer Bashari Chakraborty for winning the Ukiyoto Award for Best Woman Writer of the Year (Fiction) for her book 'My Slice of the Sky'. A well-deserved honor!

When your students publish! So proud to see books by our BWWers Bashari Chakraborty and Magesh Kumar. Their work is a testament to their dedication and is available on Amazon.

About Published & Proud: Our Authors' Success Stories

The books you see here did not appear overnight. They started as messy, vulnerable drafts shared during a Sunday session at our Indiranagar space. Our process isn't about lecturing; it's about peer critique and accountability. When you join us, you are not just signing up for a class, you are finding an ecosystem of beta readers, editors, and friends who will keep you writing until your project is actually finished.

Writing in isolation is hard, but finishing a manuscript is nearly impossible alone. We built this workshop to solve that. Our methodology focuses on moving you from the 'serial first drafter' phase to a polished, ready-to-publish author.

We provide the structure through our foundation courses, but the real magic happens in the community. Our writers have gone on to launch anthologies like The BWW Book of Emerging Poets at venues such as the Bengaluru Poetry Festival and Champaca Bookstore. We celebrate every win, whether it is a poetry collection like Sarita Talwai's Everyday Haiku or national recognition like Bashari Chakraborty's Ukiyoto Award for Best Woman Writer.

Here is how we help you get there:

  • Critique-First Approach: We replace boring theory with rigorous peer and mentor feedback. You learn to edit by deconstructing your work and the work of others.
  • Real-World Exposure: From organizing launches at Atta Galatta to sharing excerpts on platforms like Scroll.in, we guide you on how to present your work to the world.
  • Accountability Groups: Our alumni batches and writing retreats provide the sustained support needed to push through writer's block and complete your manuscript.

If you have a story stuck inside you, stop waiting for the 'perfect time.' Bring your draft to our next workshop, and let's get it published.

I'm Bhumika, and I started this workshop because I wanted a space where stories felt real, not manufactured. When you see our members holding their own books, it is not just a professional milestone, it is a personal victory for all of us. I am here to ensure your voice does not just get heard, but gets read.
