Why I Do What I Do

Stories are my jam, and honestly, I think every kid deserves to find the magic in them. I’ve noticed bachpan (childhood) is when empathy, imagination, and values start taking shape. That’s why I put my heart into every session - whether we’re spinning tales, writing wild ideas, or just laughing together.

Workshops for Young Writers (Ages 10-17)

I run a creative writing workshop where kids get hands-on coaching, real editing help, and a shot at becoming published authors. It’s not just another online class - I keep batches tiny so I can actually work with each kid. They finish up with their story in a printed anthology and get to celebrate at a real book launch. Seeing their own book copy? Big moment.

Storytelling Sessions for Little Listeners (Ages 2-16)

My interactive storytelling for kids sessions bring books to life - puppets (polar bear is a hit!), music, crafts, and games. I also do Kamishibai, a Japanese ‘paper theater’ with loads of masti (fun), and themed book parties where we go all-in on authors like Sudha Murthy or Harry Potter. Expect costumes, trivia, and more.

For Budding Storytellers (Ages 8-14)

Kids who want to learn how to tell folktales get to try voice work, performance skills, and build confidence on stage. I keep it chill but focused - every child gets to be heard, not just seen.

My Approach

Sessions are never boring. I use props, costumes, music, and keep things super interactive. Small groups mean every child gets attention and a chance to shine. Learning should feel like a joyful adventure, not a chore.
