A glimpse into the joy of storytelling and the creative milestones I help young readers achieve, from puppet-led sessions to becoming published authors.
This is the magic of storytelling. I use everything from puppets to costumes to bring stories to life, creating an atmosphere of fun, joy, and learning. In every session, whether in a large school auditorium or an intimate group, my goal is to spark imagination and build empathy.
One of my proudest moments is seeing a child become a published author. This video captures the joy of my 'Write and Publish' workshop, where young writers get to hold their very own anthology book. It's a complete journey from idea to a real book launch.
Parents often ask me how to pick the right book. In this video, I share a simple tip I've learned over 10 years: match the book's main character's age to your child's. I walk you through different age categories, from board books for toddlers to young adult novels for teens.
This is what my musical storytelling sessions look like. I combine stories with puppets, like my popular polar bear, to create an interactive and fun experience for children aged 4 to 9. These events are held in small groups to ensure every child gets to participate.

I believe storytelling is a vital life skill. Here, my collaborator Nupur explains our 'Once Upon a Folktale' course, designed to help children aged 8 to 14 build confidence, improve communication, and master public speaking through the magic of folktales.

About this collection
Whether I am using a puppet to narrate a folktale or guiding a young writer through their first anthology, I keep my groups small. That way, every child actually gets the attention they need to find their own voice and confidence, rather than just sitting in the back of the room.
My work at Bukmuk is built around a simple belief: every child deserves to find their own 'bachpan' (childhood) magic in books. This collection highlights the diverse ways we make that happen across Delhi NCR and beyond.
Interactive Storytelling & Puppetry
I don't just read stories; I bring them to life. Using the traditional Japanese art of Kamishibai, expressive puppetry, and music, I create immersive sessions for ages 2 to 16. These sessions are designed to spark imagination, build empathy, and improve concentration, whether it’s a small group reading or a school auditorium event.
Young Author Workshops
Seeing a child hold a book they wrote themselves is one of my favorite moments. My writing workshops for ages 10-17 are hands-on and rigorous. We focus on plot development and editing, culminating in a real published anthology and a launch ceremony. It’s not just a class; it’s a pathway to becoming an author.
Reading Support & Library Access
Books are the silent gurus that help children grow. My library service offers access to over 40,000 titles, but the real value is in the recommendation. Parents often ask me how to keep kids engaged with reading—I provide personalized book picks based on your child's age, personality, and current interests, making sure they never outgrow their love for stories.
Masterclasses for Parents
Sometimes, the best way to raise a reader is to help the adults in their lives. In collaboration with experts, I conduct masterclasses on read-aloud techniques and choosing the right books. It’s about building a family habit that lasts well beyond childhood.
